New front tire after conversion???

PW! You do have a very valid point here.......... I'm 50% through my Avon tire as we speak, (she's in hibernation now) BUT come this spring, I'll try to find an Avon tire, BUT if after trying two or three companies, and it's STILL UNobtainable, I will order a BT46....
I guess if I have never tried one, I'm not a very good critic am I ??? lol "Thanks for the eye open'rrrr

It just kind of sucks. There are a handful of Avon trike tires out there to be had. But many of those retailers are using the shortage to gouge the avid trike owners. But I don't think Avon is truly aware of the profit they are missing out on by not restocking the dealers. A healthy supply would also mean lower prices for us. Both last year and again this year, I had reached out to the Avon US manager and was assured a decent supply was to be sent out from the UK by the fall. And so far, Avon has not kept their word. Just recently a small amount did finally reach some of the larger retailers but it didn't take long for those to get bought up. I had a chance to grab one up but I refused to pay the prices they were being sold at. Especially since the Battlax BT46 in some cases was almost half the price.

Avon , Pirelli and Continental are 3 brands that I have not had good success over the years on both my cages and bikes.

Dunlop and Bridgestone tire(s) r my best long distance, so far! (Avon TRIKE tire, are great for my trike)
