Diameter of the Stallion Roll Bar

I have come up with a super cool customizing idea for the chrome roll bar on the Stallion, but need to know the diameter of the chrome bar. I figure when I ride without a passenager/headrest, it will look outstanding. And it is inexpensive.

Could someone provide that info? I will let everyone know if it will work, so you can consider this too. Thanks.

Thank you for the info. That is outstanding. Since no one will probably read this reply, you will be the only other person in the world to know this super cool idea. ;)

Go to Küryakyn and look at their Flamed Tube Accents. If they can be mounted on the roll bar (flames up) where the bar goes into the Stallion body, it would look so neat. I am going to do this when I get my Stallion.

We will have the only flamed roll bars around. :D

(pssssst...... I just read this reply....... LOL! ;))

So did I, wonder how well they would look to have them painted to match.

Good one Dennis. Painted or powder coated to match the paint color then installed over the chrome roll bar would look pretty cool!

pssss..switchback...i read it too...
i went there and the closest i could find was the "L.E.D. Frame Accent Lighting" is that what you are talking about?? i couldn't find any "flame" items...other than the obvious ;)

V, I had to go under the "Metric" listing and then typed in "Flamed Tube Accents" in the "go" block at the top...then it came up.

Hold on here. I have a patent pending on this cool idea. Any use of my super cool idea without royalty fees paid to me will require me to contact my attorneys, Dewy, Cheatum, and Howe. :p

If you knew some of my other ideas, there would be a stampede to customize Stallions. :D The chrome flame idea for the roll bar is minor league stuff.

Having not looked at the Stallion roll bar all that closely...how would you slip those flame accents on?

Say, that is a good point. I was hoping someone would buy them and see if they are in two halves and just slip together. That would be super simple to install. If not then I would just make them two halves myself. No problem at all.

I really like the idea of painting them the color of the Stallion and then putting them on the chrome rollbar. That would look so cool. I was also thinking if they were slightly too long, the top of the flames could easily be bent slightly to go with the curve of the rollbar. That should not be a big deal either.

I sure wish I had a Stallion, so I could do this myself, then post pictures. RATS! :banghead: I have tons of other styling ideas too. :D

For example, there is a styling problem with how the opening goes under the mirror and how the front end looks right over the front tire. I have some ideas that address these areas, but not really solutions. It is really a plastic shell design fabrication problem. Just call me the “Willie G. Davidson” of the Stallion design department.

I'm not going to touch that last statement at the end of the previous post.

Hey Switchback while you mind is doing all that planning

How about come up with an aftermarket drink holder for the rear seat rider of the Stallion. And maybe a stuff holder for a MP 3 or game boy.

My 9 year old would be in your debt. Cause if he drops his drink done his momma's back one more time.....

That is a tough one. The only thing I can think of is using a pouch on the back of the driver backrest or attaching a drink/item caddy onto the backrest assembly.

For example, go to Kuzer Kaddy.

I am not sure of attaching points on the driver's backrest for a drink/item caddy. Seems like that using the driver backrest assembly would be the most convenient.

There is a pouch for the driver’s backrest at Customized Stallion Trike Options. This might work fine and solve your problem.

We need Tummy room  so the pouch on the backrest would not work. But as an FYI I have that same pouch on the backside of the roll bar head rest. I guess it came from the same people, it was a dealer install.

I think something like the Kaddy mounted on the forward part of the arm rest.

Next ralley I can get to to look and play with some cup holders I guess I will tackle this.
