Defective parts

A message to all. Remember to assume the following when you get your parts.

- Assume that they are packaged wrong. Prove it as best as possible, that the parts look the same as the ones being replaced.

- Assume that they are defective. Inspect them carefully. Sometimes a problem can be determined without even opening the package.

- Prove it to yourself that the part looks good and correct.

Below is a fork bushing that I don't trust. It probably happened in shipping.

It will straighten out once it's in place , as long as it is still round. Not to worry. The solid bushings are the ones to watch? Make sure they are not egg shaped.
