Was visiting with the sales guys after they got back from the dealers meeting. They were talking about the new stuff and rumors they picked up on talking to engineers and managers. One of the rumors was that it's a strong feeling among the various heads, that with the popularity of the Tri-Glide, that HD is coming out with a TG CVO. Also talk of making the 120ST optional in the trike. I can't wait to see the price tag on that puppy. Momma ain't going to like this conversation.

The demand is definitely there and for some people price is no object. The last couple of trips I made to Hannigan, I have seen numerous brand new CVO Ultras delivered to be converted to Transformer trikes. These were from both Harley dealers and individuals.

They have a 110 stranded in the Softail Slim-s for 2016... So can trikes be next???

That's what I've been waiting for. But may buy a Corvette instead - probably cheaper.:D

I've owned dozens of Corvettes so when I sold our Boss Hoss trike,I thought my new bride would share my passion for them and purchased another ZR-1.
Sherry wouldn't even sit in it,much less ride in it,so I reluctantly sold it and bought our Street Glide. The rest is history. :)

I'll have a CVO trike in October

but it will be my ole Pumpkin. I want to retire in a few years and financing a $40K trike over 5 or 6 years does not fit the plan...

WOW! my wife is just the opposite. I couldn't keep her out of either one, especially the roadster. She mumbled something about sailors.

She also bought her own bike. It was demeaning to ride "bitch". :D

I like wise have owned quite a few. A few top flight and Bloomington cars. A quick peek in my driveway.... F/I #'s match

Can't even think about a CVO at this point in my life.

Nice 62 you have there,Texan. I've owned quite a few solid axle cars. 58-60's were always my favorite.
Here's my last two Corvettes,both ZR-1's.

I have often said Miss Mysterious would be my last Harley build...If Harley ever does a CVO Tri Glide in red or blue with a 120ST I would be all in...
You Chevy Corvette guys can have them...I will stick to the Chevy C10...

Harley thinks CVO means they choose what goes well on a bike. It should be from the ground up specified by the buyer !
If you want poka dots pay for it & it's yours !
As long as you use Harley parts they shouldn't have a say what you can get !

:Agree: One of the reasons I've never owned a CVO. I came close in 06, but passed because I didn't like the leather tour-pak and the paint.

I have been thinking of that very thing for my 13. My previous trike was a police road king modified with a road glide fairing and a champion conversion. I really liked that trike the way it looked. Doing the road glide fairing would be an expensive mod but it would not be hard to do. It will cost around $4k with me doing the work. I would need the daymaker lights and a new set of Heli-bars, which is why hesitate.

Check out the White/Red/Black Road Glide trike from Motor Trike. That RG fairing just sets it off,IMO. http://www.motortrike.com/trikeHarleyGladiator.aspx Ted,do you need or just want Helibars and Daymakers? You could save a large amount, with cheaper alternatives.

The Heli bars are a need to have. I can not ride with other bars I have arteris in my wrists and they become unbearable sore in 30 minutes with other bars. I've tried about 5 different bars until I put the heli's on. I can ride 8 to 10 hours without pain. Just have to set the angle correctly.

The Daymakers are a luxury but alternatives are not that much cheaper.
