my wife's freewheeler cruise control doesn't work. the light comes on, but doesn't set. is there anything I can check?

Have you done any thing to the trike recently?
Are your brake lights working OK both front and rear brakes turn on and off brake lights?
If not you may have a brake light switch problem

I think Jack is on the right track. I just got a cruise control working again by cleaning sockets and grounds and replacing the tail light bulbs. They were lighting up, but I thought they were ticking fast. The ticking slowed with everything fresh, and the cruise works now.

Switch Pack Issue?
I recently sent my Tri Glide to the shop because it would not start in gear. Started fine in neutral. They said the neutral saftey switch was bad, but had to replace the left switch pack which included the cruise control. (Was covered under the warranty) I don't know if your switch pack could be the problem. Just a thought.

The Tri Glides seem to have a lot of problems with those left switch packs...Hopefully, they have addressed the issue.
