Just got a 2002 Interceptor II with Hyundai engine. I would like to know where the governor is located.

Aside from the already used "Albany" joke, I would guess that it might be located at carberator/fuel injector. Maybe where throttle control goes. If you have the exact model of engine, I would recommend just going to the service dept at a Hundai dealer and asking them location.

My eyes must be failing. I now see it's Shelter Island, not Staten Island. Very big difference. Probably same distance from me in central Suffolk. Hope you weren't riding a go-cart/dune buggy recently (you would know what I am talking about).:Joker3:

Sometimes on the "Newer Stuff" now, it's an electronic module remotely located on the vehicles instead of engine mounted.....learned this from runnin' a Junk Yard.....
