Leo, hurray for you! We are in Alton, Il and in for the night.
Saw relatives I haven't seen since I passed this way in 1998. Janice met them for the first time today. It was a great visit for all of us.
Tomorrow, we see more relatives.

Good morning TT Land! Illinois must be Can Am country. Saw 5 on I 70 East yesterday, while I was traveling West.
I can not believe how far ahead this part of the country is to New England. The trees are all green, the lilacs are just about done, they have mowed the lawns three times, and everything is so summer like. Our maples are just starting to bud, daffodils are just going by, and the lawns are just starting to green up. WOW!
I would be riding my trike for a long time!
Have a safe day!

Morning all. Nice day for riding here. Even talked the missus into riding on all our chores today. I get a nice ride beginning of week. Need to go to western PA. Should be about 800 miles total at least.
And my Bozo's softball won the double header opening games last night.

Great to win, right Bozo! Had a girls softball team stay here in the Holiday Inn, but they are packed and gone now, I wonder if they lost?
We took our first ride a week ago when it was 77 F in NH, great day!
Hope all have a safe day.

Good day folks! Made it home safe and sound from Texas. Logged 4,719 miles in 21 days across 14 states and the District of Columbia. Trike is unpacked, and I had a spaghetti lunch with Jeannette and our granddaughter Amanda. First homemade meal in 3 weeks. Cannot say enough what a wonderful time I had, but it is great to be home. Have a great day!

Great to hear you're home and all is well. We've been following your trip via your words and pictures. Looks like you had a wonderful "outing".

Most of my spring flowers are those little yellow ones that plant themselves randomly in the yard. :D
Morning all. It must be that Johnnie Dandilion who goes planting them across the country in random locations. I think he spent a couple nights camped on my lawn.

Good morning folks! Would like to give our lawn its first haircut, but it is looking gray out there. Someone we know, has a sump pump that was running almost continuously and was smoking. They had to replace it. Too bad we cannot ship some of that water out west. Have a great day!

Went to give my lawn its first cut yesterday. Got the lawn tractor out of the shed. 3 flat tires and dead battery. Checked under the hood for any signs of mice. None seen. Pushed it to front hard. Inflated the tires while charging the battery. Started it up and there is a mouse sitting on front wheel sticking its tongue out at me. Chased it away....right under the cover of the VW trike. Where it will probably stay until I forget it is there, so it can jump out at me when I do some work on it.
Anyways, off at 4am for a nice paid trike ride to a paper mill in western PA.

BB - :qpnmt: - Have a great ride. It looks like the weather may even co-operate for the next couple of days. My "big" rides for this week will be the 80 mi round trip to work and back. Oh well, better than nothing...

Good Monday Morning TRIKE TALK/TOI Friends.....Pics coming from Maggie Valley, WHEELS THROUGH TIME MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM, Blue Ridge Parkway over the Weekend.....ThumbUp

Changed the oil in the trike yesterday, all set for Americade and TT NE Rally. Can't wait. Hope someday soon it warms up.

Almost no traffic for entire 390 miles today. Was stuck behind a dump truck on a 1-laner. Would have passed him, but I didn't see any speed limit signs and the sheriff was following me. Finally went to 2-lanes. and passed truck up a hill. Moved by to let the law pass. He did and then tailgated the next car that wouldn't get out of his way.
Waiting for parts overnight at paper mill in Johnsonburg. Office called with emergency n Chicago. While I am always up for a ride, its 500 miles away. No time in week. Will ride home late Tues and catch flying flight on Wed.

C'mon Bozo, your almost in chicago, just go for it and get pad for riding, besides its not snowing :D ..... :vxtyaq: :vxtyaq: Good night Mrs. Calabash, where ever you are :vxtyaq: :vxtyaq:
