Good morning folks! Hope everyone here is well during these ongoing storms. Was watching the Weather Channel last evening. Looks real bad. Storm hasn't reached Savannah yet, but it's coming. Need to get some food before it hits. Stay safe!

Nope, but in the South, You have waaaay better odds to "rain ride" the early morning to a destination before the heat-n-humidity form the Severe Thunderstorms and Tornadoes.....ThumbUp
Thanks folks! Have no pressing need to go anywhere. Have my food and air conditioning. Will go for a walk and come back for a nap. Feel better about weathering this storm in Savannah than in the Carolinas. Trying to avoid tornado prone areas.

Hot Temps Today...Cool Front moving in, fed by lots of Gulf Moisture....Clouds are thickening, and wind has changed to out of the South.....seems we've seen this combo already this week......:cxtv:...Ding Ding, Round 2 I suppose.......

Raining so much and so hard here that I couldn't decide whether to take my truck or a boat to work today,,lol. Roads are flooded with creeks overflowing everywhere,,,.

Good Morning.
Morning all. Had an interesting night. 12:30am. Hotel near Miami. Some boob went out to smoke. Flicked their butt in the bushes. Smoldered, creating smoke but no fire. A guest panicked and hit the smoke alarm. I was on 6 floor right above and smelled smoke. Didn't want a good nights sleep before working on high voltage equipment anyways. Red Bull, here I come.

Good morning folks! Still hanging out in dry Savannah. Weather map shows rain coming, but it is moving very slowly. Oh well, whole East Coast is swamped. Have a great day!
Here I sit in Albany,Ga., supposed to deliver today in near by Camilla, but due to rain and wind the customer has pushed back to some time tomorrow. Oh well, the load I was going to pick up later today is screwed, can't plan on one for tomorrow, they don't know when they will get me unloaded. So I guess I'm looking at loading on Friday, a whole week under a 950 mile load, not how to make money! I did talk with a guy from Dish, in the Phillapeans about my Stallion, he looked it up online while we were working a glitch out on my programming. He thought it was way crazy, and had to cost a fortune....a really nice guy.
It's raining! It's raining! Let's get this show on the road so I can get home!

Totally Unknown Customer: "I need an alternator for my 2002 4.6 Ford F-150...I don't have any money right now until my checks come the first of the month, but I can show You proof of I.D. with my Drivers License...it's suspended, but I didn't turn it in because it has my picture on it for identification.....or I can let You use my EBT Card for groceries, I think it still has about $111.00 of credit on it".......................and so, another work day in the USA begins.......:laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
Leo - While in Savannah, try to get to "Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House" for eats. I think they're only open from 11 'till 2, but it's great southern food and a unique experience.
