We are leaning towards the charcoal grey like we did a few years back.
Those turned out really nice and were a favorite.

Looks like I'm stuck in Florence, SC tomorrow. Storms are coming from the west, and there is no way around them. Guess I have to have another double trout dinner at Cracker Barrel tomorrow. Life is so cruel! Good night folks!

Spent many days at South of the border... Do they still have signs ever mile on the highway? We would stock up on Fireworks at the arsenal.
Ride safe trike looks great Leo...

Hi John, Many of the signs are still there. Very imaginative sayings... Yes, fireworks are big in the South. Killing the day waiting for storms to pass. Storms haven't arrived yet, so it is tempting to ride. Know what awaits me if I do. May get stuck in a thunderstorm and not be able to check into another motel until 3:00 p.m. Not good! Went for a long walk this morning, and will soon be ready for a nap. Thanks!

Wow! Middle of country looks great next two days! Will pick up I-20 and make a bee line for Dallas. Better put the liner back in my jacket.

Started raining here, but my baby is clean and covered.

Rosy, I use different motel chains. Depends where I am, and what is available. Don't usually go for cheapest, but I have. Just stopped at South of the Border for a picture. It is a landmark. Craving a Subway sandwich. Have a great day!

Good boy Leo, eat healthy! We stopped at Pilot Truck stops lots of times because they have Subway.
Rest so you will be ready to ride into the sunset! We planned our rides by mileage, then looked for a Hampton Inn in the area since they have a hot free breakfast in the morning. Not the cheapest, but didn't have to travel to breakfast and save on the cost of breakfast.

Temp is still nice in Florence, SC, 73*F and sun peeking through the clouds. There is a frost warning all through the South for this evening. Looking forward to sunshine tomorrow.

Temp here dropped 20 deg in the past 1/2 hour. Looking at the weather Ap. Leo you should feel it by 7:00.

John, Black clouds passed through a short while ago. It was pouring! Still steady rain, but sky is lighter. Expect it to be cold in the morning. Put the liner in my motorcycle jacket. Thanks!

John, Went for a walk tonight. It is much cooler. Will bundle up in the morning. Anxious to get rolling. Have three days to make Dallas. Going to the George W. Bush Presidential Library. Yes, I'm riding alone until I get to Texas, 1,071 miles from here.
