Update on blue bonnets: the Willow City Loop around Fredericksburg is pretty barren of b'bonnets, but the area east of Austin is full of em! Friend me on Faceboof for shared pix!

Evening all. A good week all around. Got a ride out of state for work. Then riding to office second half of week. Missed all rain. Told I will be getting a promotion at work and finished up the week with temp of 71'F for ride home today. Now if only the radio was working better. Reception seems to be an issue this week. Luckily had Paul McCartneys Ram on CD loaded.

Decided to make reservations for the George W. Bush Library. Ordered ticket for Saturday, 4/19. Staying at Best Western down the road on 4/18-4/20, 2 nights. Will then head down to Hill Country.

Thanks Jonesy, 200 round trip through the mountains would be a good sight seeing day trip. Hope to do that in August while were at the NE Rally.

Kwputt, hey are bringing any little pets with you to the Rally? LOL Bring pictures so I can see the little guys running around while we sit and chat by the pool.
See you in a few months.
Hope everybody has a great day. We will be heading to Maine to a Lion's Club ham/hot dog bake bean supper later today.

Great day, Leo! Having coffee this morning watching a turkey in the back yard picking at seeds by the old apple tree. Can't get any better than that!
Have a great day everybody!

Rosy, there will not be any little four legged creatures making the trip. The gentleman that we contracted with retired and sold out in January. My boys decided to give old dad a break and suggested that I do the same. So, we are in the process of selling all of the equipment. First time in 46 years that we've not had to take care of livestock seven days a week. Felt kinda strange at first, but I'm beginning to like it. Talked to one of the other contract feeders at a sale two weeks ago and the new owner is not living up to his contract obligations. Guess maybe we made a good move.
We contracted with the same guy for 19 years. Saw him three times during that time span, first of every month he paid his bill in full.
We're looking forward to the Vermont trip, one more sight to see and another check mark on our bucket list.
Blondie, give me a call one evening if you can fit it in your schedule.:D

Good morning folks! Up early and bushy-tailed... Ready for some serious riding. Enjoy the day!
They have operations to remove those bushy tails these days, you know.
nice and in 60's today. Good news is got the missus out for her 2nd ride of Spring. Bad news it is to shop. Yin &Yang.

Made it to Virginia today. Could go no further, I-95 S was a parking lot.

Kwputt,
What, you are giving up your 24/7 job! Oh No, our food prices are surely going to go up! LOL
Congrats, you deserve it! Now to enjoy retirement, which isn't bad at all, ask me, I'll tell you!
You know there are thankless job in this world and I will list them:
Firemen
Policemen
Farmers
These people do not get the recognition for their hard and difficult work.
We will see you in August at the Rally!
Leo, I told you! A parking lot on 95 in the DC area, no surprise there! Been there and done that, but no Tee shirt!
My son and his wife use to drive with their iPhone on to the traffic report so they could see which way to travel to avoid the parking lot, at times even the iPhone didn't help!
Did you ask the Pres to go for a ride on your trike? He may have.

Rosy
