14* and sunny here in East China. Getting ready to go to the motorcycle show this morning with my Bride and another couple. Hope to see some trikes there!

Morning all. A nice warm-2'F here on Long Island this morning. I don't remember the last time it went into minus territory here.

Good morning! 21 here this morning. Mom went to hospital Tuesday with pneumonia, was released to NH rehab, still on antibiotics. She is madder than a wet hen. Life is a box of chocolates.:AGGHH: Nana, when do you go back to the Land of Enchantment?

I am sure she will do better there than at home. Lot's of iffy s at home, but at rehab they will look after you. BUT, try to tell that to an elderly person, no way, they want to go home, they do not like anything out of he norm.
Hope is up and around soon!
Good morning TT land. Hope all you frozen people will see the warmth soon.
Dover was -3 F and by next week will be in the 40s F.
New Mexico is 50 F...
BG..How about Texas, what is the temp?
Be safe!

At 10:45, it's 61*, on the way to 72! Brilliant sun! Eat your hearts out, Yankees! Come on down and visit - you'll want to go home by May or June when it's a gazillion degrees here!

CC, been waiting a long time to talk with Mrs. Calabash! Welcome home!

Hey-hey. Watch that Yankee stuff, aren't you married to one? You better watch out, you may transplant to the North, then what! Yup, then you will wish you were in Texas! LOL..I know, it will never happen, correct!
Read the history of Fort Hood, WOW, where you there when Bush paid a visit?
Take care TT Land. Hope everybody's property is free of snow.
Warren, Leo, and Bozo, how are you guys doing? Bozo, Diane is pretty smart getting those guys to clear the snow, before you got home. Saved your back!
Hope all is good.

Big John will never move, could barely get him to ride to Pittsburgh after TT Rally #5! I liked P'burgh, my first visit, but it was in June, so I missed the snow! (And the football!).

We were on the trike, returning home from North Carolina in sub-freezing temps, when Bush visited. http://www.factcheck.org/2010/02/bush-at-ft-hood/. Wouldn't have mattered to us much, anyway.

...Now it's supposed to rain Sun & Mon with temps in the mid to upper 40's. For handling the snow (about 9"), I'll use my "rake the leaves" approach - wait and it will go away. :D  :D  ...

Rosy -

Storm re-hab well under control here. Walkway touch-up handled by daughter & hubby, the balance of snow accumulation being handled via my leaf/snow protocol - i.e. - wait long enough, and it will go away. ThumbUp :D

Nice to hear from you - keep warm...

Warren, I am very proud of you, why, because you are saving your back. No shoveling!
As for the snow, let it be, it should be in the +40s F in the middle of the week, correct.
I would get a gift certificate to The Outback for the shovelers!
Maybe we will see you in August..

Rosy & Janice

I didn't think I would ever see the coldest temp here on trike talk, but from what has been reported so far our -4 seems to be the lowest this morning. 4 pm it was a toasty 21.

Fred, that's a bummer. At least today we have wireless communication in most parts of the country so you were able to call for assistance.

And now its time to say Good night Mrs Calabash, where ever you may be. Nite nite everyone :vxtyaq:

Hi folks! Getting back to my normal self, but had a spell. Had some kind of head cold that I managed to keep from my lungs, only minor wheezing. Never had a high fever. Also developed a lower back pain that was quite annoying. Stiffness and pain are going away, and I was able to shovel snow yesterday and do light exercises. Going to my doctor for annual physical on Monday. In a little over two weeks we go on a Caribbean cruise. Plan to relax and soak up some sunshine. Hope everyone is doing okay with this frigid winter. Spring is coming...

Good morning to all on the site! 27* here in East China Mi. Got some snow (2") not quite the 12" to 15" they were talking about last night.
Have a great day everyone!

Happy Birthday WARREN!!!!! I hope that you and Barb, have a special day planned!

I got rolling about 2 hours after, running out, but all is well just $300 lighter in the pocket. And a new fuel gauge on the to do list! But that's just owning a business, life goes on.

Every one have a dry...warm...fun day watching football, except for Scott and Carollyn, I feel that they will be in mourning for their Cheifs, boy 45-44 what a great game!!ThumbUp

Warren, B-Day, Happy-Happy..many..many more, good buddy!
Leo, what's the temperature in your area?
Hope everybody has a good day! Enjoy the football games and be safe!

Rosy & Janice

CC, great cake, may I have some of the frosting? Yum-Yum...
Happy birthday again, good buddy! Are you sure you have enough candles. I know with my birthday cake, we have to call the fire station to stand by, just in case! LOL
Football anyone!

Rosy

Holding at 32. Black ice everywhere, going up to 40 tomorrow. Wed came out of work at 6:00pm. Temp at -2. Car frozen. Got door open and got in turned key and only got a click click... Thank God for a jumper battery.

Strange weather, was near 50 today and will be below zero this time tomorrow night. That's a 50 degree drop in less then 24 hours. Brrrrrrrrrr
Time to crawl under the covers and call it a day.
You kids behave, play nice and stay warm Ya;hear :vxtyaq:

Mornin' friends...:cxtv:

I don't think I'll be doing much more than peeking out today. It's been snowing. It is currently 6º and dropping. It is supposed to get as low as -7º before 1:00 p.m. and in addition there are to be winds gusting to 25 mph or more. My winter coat isn't made for this!!!!! Thankfully, this seems to be about a 36-hour thing that Mother Nature has come down with, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

I'm so thankful for a cozy little home and the freedom to stay in! but I ache to think of those who have to be out in this weather. I hope all of you are warm, safe and careful today. I know there are many areas who are much worse off than we are here in Ohio! But Police, fire crews, paramedics, street maintenance, tow services, and many others must be outside all day long and even here in our area it is dangerous weather. Praying for you!!!
