Good morning folks! This is going to be some day. It's raining right now, which melted our ice, but expecting a 52* temperature drop today. Crazy!
Monday High 58°/ Low 6° Showers

Mornin' friends...:cxtv:

I don't think I'll be doing much more than peeking out today. It's been snowing. It is currently 6º and dropping. It is supposed to get as low as -7º before 1:00 p.m. and in addition there are to be winds gusting to 25 mph or more. My winter coat isn't made for this!!!!! Thankfully, this seems to be about a 36-hour thing that Mother Nature has come down with, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

I'm so thankful for a cozy little home and the freedom to stay in! but I ache to think of those who have to be out in this weather. I hope all of you are warm, safe and careful today. I know there are many areas who are much worse off than we are here in Ohio! But Police, fire crews, paramedics, street maintenance, tow services, and many others must be outside all day long and even here in our area it is dangerous weather. Praying for you!!!

I could not have said it better myself.
My sentiments exactly.
All schools are closed in our area due to temperatures.
You kids play nice and stay warm, ya'hear :Coffee:

High of 66 this morning, 12 tonight. Raining and can't get my horses to come up from the 10 acre pasture. Of course they are in the back part.
Guess I'm going for a walk.

Was nice and warm on LI this morning. 54'F and drizzle. Washed most of the snow away. Big drop n temp expected later. Doesn't matter for me. On my way to New Orleans. Toasty there.

Started out at -14 and temp has been dropping and wind has been rising. Right now have seen temp -16 and wind chill -40. You don't want to leave anything exposed that you don't want to lose. I also feel for the people that cannot take the time off such as Police, Firefighters, EMTs,and some people working in the woods such as piece cutters, log loaders. If I forgot anyone, I apologize.

Mornin' friends. -7º right now, but it looks like a beautiful morning….just too cold to be out there enjoying the beauty! I layered up to take the dog out, but both of us were very happy to be back inside under a fleece lap blanket.

Let's see…. I'm thankful for a cozy home, fleece blankets, hot coffee, working lights, furnace, and hot water, enough clothes to layer up, and so much more including good friends. Blessings to all of you this morning!

Mornin everyone,,,. :Coffee:

We hit a low of 7 here in Central VA. I was happy to see that my insulated garage maintained a temperature of 40 so there was no issue of pipes freezing in there. I still had a small electric space heater going through out the night near the pipe just for safety sake.

I think the cold weather followed me down here to New Orleans. It's been below freezing. That's just not right when along the gulf. And they lost my luggage. Finally found and arrived 24 hrs after me.

I know that 58º feels cold to all you southerners; but it was -8º when we pulled out of southern Ohio yesterday, and this feels like heaven to me!!!!

Did you leave your trike and bike there while you visited the frozen north? Or did you trailer them back?
Wellcome "home" again!
Still in NM, and don't expect to be home before February, if then. It is turning out to e a long trip.
Enjoy the "warm"weather.
Enjoy your day TT Land!

Our rides stayed warm here in Florida, Rosy. We knew there would be no hope of riding them in Ohio during the past 3-4 weeks.
