Mornin' friends. Merry Christmas Eve! Kids are stirring here already…. Christmas Eve with ages 2, 3-1/2, 5, 6-1/2, 12, 14, 16 and their moms and dads. Going to be a busy day keeping them all out from under the tree ….. Thank goodness for coffee before they are all up already!!!

I'll second those Happy Birthday wishes to you Cheri and raise with Happy Holidays also.
Got some nice riding in today on TG. Couldn't get VW started. Picked up some starter fluid in my travels and that did the trick. Some light snow on way tonight so it looks like I will be in truck on way to brother-in-laws (like I would convince the missus of riding in below freezing temps). Supposed to head down to 20'F tonight.

Just got home. Tried to tell the wife that even though it is technically after midnight, she's not allowed to open any of her presents until morning...and she better not wake me up early.

Afternoon all. Just sitting around in docs waiting room. The missus isn't feelng great and had me pick her up at work. No rides planned until new years day. If its clear, I might take VW out for a "Cold Fingers" charity ride.

How is everybody making out with power. I know parts of Maine and other states are scrambling to get power back on.
It was the worst Christmas in 126 years for some power companies.
Truly blessed we had power and wishing all who didn't a speedy recovery!
Bozo, is Di, OK? Tell her Janice & I wish her well. Good luck on your charity ride..
Big Dog & Miles, where are you today? Hope you had a very safe Christmas while touring our highway systems....

Rosy, we got lucky and only lost power for a couple of hours over a three day period. Today is the first day its been above 10 degrees in something like 17 days ( its 21 and feels like a heat wave ) We still have over an inch of ice on the wires and trees so were hoping for no wind till this melts. Here in St. Lawrence county their were over 7000 without power, as of 8pm last evening everybody had it back. The people from the power company worked all Christmas eve and day to get the power back on. ( I think the high yesterday was 5 ) Their a great bunch of people and were thankful for them. 25 more days and were heading south pepper
