A very late good morning or early good night! Busy morning and afternoon. Have a great evening! I hope all had as wonderful a Christmas as we did here in East China Mi.

OK back to my every day clothes.....:)

What a relief to get the server issues finally worked out. What a PITA that deal has been.
Wait, I better not start bragging yet or it will crap out on me again.

We are back...pepper

.....and on the new server finally...whew!

Thank you...thank you for your hard work to make this a Great Site!
Happy New Year to you and your Family!

Blondie Gal, I just read that Texas has a great place to go visit, South Padre Island, have you been there?

Rosy, we got lucky and only lost power for a couple of hours over a three day period. Today is the first day its been above 10 degrees in something like 17 days ( its 21 and feels like a heat wave ) We still have over an inch of ice on the wires and trees so were hoping for no wind till this melts. Here in St. Lawrence county their were over 7000 without power, as of 8pm last evening everybody had it back. The people from the power company worked all Christmas eve and day to get the power back on. ( I think the high yesterday was 5 ) Their a great bunch of people and were thankful for them. 25 more days and were heading south pepper

Bruce - we remember our "old days" in St. Lawrence county... More than chilly at times. We're glad your power outage was brief. Stay warm!

Rosy - we took your advice and stayed off the bike lately. Even though last weekends outdoor temps were mild (upper 60;s), it may not have been the greatest idea I ever had (due to my recent back surgery/tuneup) :D  , the current 25 deg temps have also helped convince me to keep off it for a while. ThumbUp

Well Miles and I have been home since Monday afternoon, ready to head back out. But can't deliver Orlando till next Monday, so here we sit. Trying to find a shop to change out the radiator in my Stallion, while TMS is on plant shut down this week.

Afternoon all. Just sitting around in docs waiting room. The missus isn't feelng great and had me pick her up at work. No rides planned until new years day. If its clear, I might take VW out for a "Cold Fingers" charity ride.

Sorry to hear Diane is not feeling well. I'm in the same boat. Spend all my time in bed.

Today was a good day to rest up and get rid of all the wrapping paper and ribbons from yesterday.
Now its time to pull the plug and call it a day.
You kids behave and play nice, ya'hear ? :vxtyaq:

Leo, a nice hot bowl of lobster stew would do the trick! Sorry to hear you are not 100%, but, you are lucky it is winter and not sping or summer, so it won't take away from your riding.
Warren, I am proud of you! Let that back heal, before you start to ride this spring.
Big Dog, be safe when you hit the road again, not nice weather in parts of this country. Keep an eye out for those bears, they like to hide in odd places! :cxtv: I can't believe California, all trailers, double nickle (55) on all the roads, WOW, even motorcycles pulling trailers, (55)! How can you make money doing 55? :gah:

You cheat and do 5 or 6 over , do it all the time with the big truck, they normally won't stop you till you hit 10 over.

Her doctor said it wasn't anything serious needing antibiotics and recommended Chicken Soup and bed rest. I think he was possessed by my grandmother.
She has the whole weekend to rest up. I told her, as a favour to her, I would just go out on the trike this weekend to give her plenty of peace and quiet. I know, its quite the sacrifice on my part. And yes, she rolled her eyes the same way you all are also.

WOW, Lucky, you and Bozo are pushing the envelope a little, aren't you? No wonder the Ladies rolled their eyes at you!
But, I guess you have to do what is right for you at that moment, and if they do not want to come, it is their choice, correct?
Have a great time guys!

Good morning folks! Ate chicken/tomato/rice soup last evening and went to bed. Sweat so much that the linens were soaked. Took a hot shower, dressed in warm clothes, and changed the bedding with Jeannette's help. Feel so much better... Is it spring yet? :Trike1:

Leo - a change of diet is in order. Prior to bedtime, stay away from the hot soup and switch to several cold, adult beverages. That should take care of things... ThumbUp

Warren, Yes, cold, adult beverages do have a medicinal effect. When I was young, my mother would give me a hot drink of cognac, water and sugar. I then had to go to bed with lots of covers. It had the same effect as the chicken soup. I would sweat out the illness. I feel much better today. Believe I'm over the hump. pepper

Leo - glad you're feeling better. Now we have to switch plans for the adult beverages. Consider using them as a "preventative" measure. :D  We don't want any re-lapses... ThumbUp

Rosy - ice & sleet really suck (been there, done that) - thankfully, here in our part of Jersey, we've been fairly lucky so far... ThumbUp
