7:30pm, still 100* here in CenTex. I've had just about enough of this summer nonsense. Another month . . .
I'll second that Nancy! Only reason I've been outside was to go to work the last 10 days. This heat & humidity isn't a good thing by NO means! I've worked and came home to sleep And back again ! With maybe a little Tv thrown in. It's suppose to cool off by Monday ThumbUp. I haven't even touched my bike in over a week now. But once this crap clears up. I'll be all over with this New to me Bike.pepper

Good Morning Nana & Friends. Couldn't sleep last night any more. Got off of work yesterday morning around 7 am. Came home and had my coffee and took a short nap. So i;d be able to stay wake most of the day. Fell back to sleep around 8 pm. After a busy day cutting the back 40! And driving wife around to stores. Picked up a few item's I ordered from Harley. So this morning at 3:30 am I was out in the garage putting my bike back together. So later after the Sun comes up. I'll have to wash & wax her. Then go for a ride ThumbUp Haven't been able to ride her for about 2 weeks now. If its not the weather or work or waiting on parts. Glad that's over with for a while. My 4 grand kids are spending the weekend with us ThumbUp. Oh yeah and their mom & dad also . 3 boys & a cutie. They should be here early saturday morning! ThumbUp. We have them for 3 days & nights. Time to spoil them lol. Ok time for some coffee. Now that the bike is 99% finished. Have a great friday. Rick

Mornin Everyone! Had a few t-storms roll through last night, it was solid lightening from about 9:30 to 11:30, wow! Hopefully will be a sunny day, but screw it gonna ride anyway! Getting ready to headout.
Have a wonderful weekend, Rick. Grandkids are treasures.... make the most of your 3 days and nights. You'll be exhausted when it is over, but a good ride on the bike will cure that!

I understand, cuz. Miss my Harley-doggie more than I can say, and it's been nearly a year since he went to the Rainbow Bridge. Got my fat old black tomcat, Davidson, though, and he's always underfoot. Our best to Roscoe!
Took my first ride out on new VW trike chopper. Went to get it inspected. Passed. Scary thing to ride. Will take a lot of practice to shift properly (left foot clutch, left hand 4-speed H pattern, right foot only brake). Kept stalling it out. Think I need to check charging circuit also. Gets lots of looks and horn beeping.
Rough day today, massive headache starting able 5am, tried to sleep it off, finally got out of bed at 230 pm.still hurting but have to at least get moving. Big thunderstorms moving thru and that is the connection to my headaches. Oh well, I would rather suffer thru that then snow, which isn't too far down the road. Peace everyone.

Nana glad your having a good time. Even with the HEAT of the day. Your making MEMORIES that's all that matters. ThumbUp. Just sat down for the evening here. Got the Harley all back together. Have to pick up a few parts Saturday morning when they open ( 9am) Then install them. ( 20 mins) Then she's getting her 1st bath & wax job at her new home. GOOD Morning. I just for once wanted to beat Nana on here in the Morning pepper. Couldn't sleep any more. Guest i'm too excited about getting the Bike on the Rd today. Just ordered more parts for the Harley. Dennis Kirk is the only one that carries what I needed for this 06 Bagger. Got the fairing and new low windshield in place last night. OOPs more later
Just wanted to be sure to beat Nana on here. Cause once i get started talking, typing, or texting . There's NO stopping me . Couple of more things to get before I'm happy with the way she looks. Picking up stuff this morning at Zylster's Harley Davidson's. Then if I get a min or 3. Stop and O Reilly's for an ANT for the bike. Took the tour pak off. So now I want to put the radio ant near the back. Then I should be done till I build up more $$$$. Ok time for some coffee. Later Dude's & Dudette's ThumbUp

Nana to get that kind of mileage in you have to leave by 6:01am. Looking at your last post I know you did not leave that early!!!
WOW, 7:45 I was having my first cup of coffee. Here in NH there aren't that many trikes close by. I have asked to see if trikes would like to go for rides, but no takers. Riding alone is OK, but would be better with company.
That's the beauty of the lower states, more people to ride with. Northern New England is hard to find co-riders to go on short trips. Oh well, make do!
