Well headed to load last trip before vacation, water pump let go! Hit a dealer, within ten miles, has one in stock, will take all day to get me in, means I loose the load to Florida, oh well. At least the truck will be up and running, I guess I can't complain 835,140 miles on the water pump. Get it done and bounce the 428 miles home. Then New England here I come, stopping in Frederick, Md., on Monday morning, then Shark River Hills, N.J., for dinner with Warren and Barbara, I hope :pepper::pepper::clapping:

We are headed home from NM. Right now layover in Hollins/Roanoke, VA and had a bite at Shaker's.
Should be home in a couple of days.
Got to get the trike ready after the body work and pack the bearings on the Donkey trailer for the rally.
I am sure the trike will look brand new when I go get it. Gary has done some body work for me before and he is really good! If you go to the NETT rally, look and see and let me know if it is a good job?

Cutting down to the wire for me. Leaving in a week and 2 days for NETT rally. Just called bike shop. All back together with new stator and battery. They need to test that everything is good and check coil again. So hopefully it will be ready for me when I fly back from TX Panhandle in a day or so.

Mornin Everyone, well, Sherry has been doing a great job at her trike class she should get her license this evening!!!

Great news! Congratulations Sherry! ThumbUp

Morning Everyone...finally got moved so HOWDY from Houston Texas. :wave4:
Just caught wind of this. so, moving to Houston in August? And people call me crazy. Have fun there. I'll drop you a line next time I'm in town.
Now onto another note. Not only am I down to the wire, but I'm down to the frayed wire without a safety net. The TG is all back together. The shop working on it gave a couple more overheating tests and isn't real confident of coil. so he went ahead and ordered new one. Unfortunately, he didn't order it overnight. Which I had told him ahead of time I would pay extra for. I can't believe local HD doesn't stock one for him to use. Of course, had I given trike to HD, it would still be waiting to be looked at.
So, hopefully Dianne isn't having to be bungy-corded to my back while I rollerblade to NETT rally.

Yeah I'm still in shock with the big city...there's actually lots of things to do, concerts, good restaurants, a decent airport with some good deals on flights (Southwest) and lots of Trike Talk friends and close family members in the area. Pretty excited to be here.

Congrats Randy and Family..first thing is to have the Air Conditioner looked at so it is in tip top shape! LOL
Good luck in your new home!

Thanks for the greetings everyone. As for the high temps, its actually no hotter than southeast Alabama was. We lived just 12 miles north of the Florida line and it was really hot and humid there most of the year. We're actually a bit north of Houston proper and the weather has been really decent here.
