Zook, PLEASE mention that to my cement contractor!!! Right now they're involved in a larger project. Mine is a " filler" job. I knew that going in. So I'm not too upset. They come highly recommend by several other contractors I've used that I'm really pleased with. You only get what you are willing to pay for.

Afternoon everyone . It's 1:45 pm and the temp here in Minn is 9 ! Hows that for a wake up call. When I got off my part time job this morning the truck just creaked and cracked up my 190 lbs. Thank God she started right up. It was 2 degrees at 6:30 am and the wind was blowing about 22 MPH. Took a few miles before my New to me truck warmed up. But it was a nice smooth rd all the way home. Only 8 more working days till I quit this job again for this season . I think the low tonight is going to be around -5 & windy again. Nuff said about all this cold crap. Off to get my coffee. later..........................

You must understand how few below-freezing days we get here in CenTex. Tonight is forecasted for "freezing rain" - BLEAH! With the wind chill, temp will be 17*! Holy crap! Get out those Snuggies, folks!

WoW,this is not right.Temp this morning 25 with about 5 to 6 inches of frozen rain and sleet.Going to be 14 tonight and stay below freezing for a few days.:xzqxz:

Little slick in Ohio tonight - took almost 30 minutes to travel 12 miles, all 4 lane. Passed two injury accidents with fire & EMS already on the scene. Both were 4 wheel drive vehicles. I'm guessin they now know that 4 wheel drive doesn't stop you from havin idiot attacks.

Rosy - looks like the "worst" of the storm might miss you to the south and by Sat p.m. you should be sunny, but a chilly 35 deg.

NJ - 45 to 50+ all day (Fri) but now down to 37 and light rain. Radar looks like the system will pass by and be out to sea in the next couple of hours. Tomorrow (Sat) rain ends in a.m. then 45, partly cloudy.

HERE's a site I have good luck with for checking weather. Plug in your ZIP code at the top... Also neat - double click on the radar screen, the radar display gets bigger, then click "animate map" in upper left to see which way the weather system is going, etc. ThumbUp
