Great time at the fair. Lots of harness racing, Good thing I wasn't betting, because every horse I picked didn't win...
Horse pulling and oxen pulling were great. Boy, some of those animals tower over me, they are huge!
Food was very good, like all fairs!
Hope everybody had a very safe day with lots of fun!

Well it's 11:50 pm here in Minn. Still nice outside. It got to 72 this afternoon. And YES I did get an hour ride in this afternoon. Man what a feelin being out there in a T shirt and Levis. No jacket just yet. Then we had pizza out of the deck afterwards. Things are good here in Minn right now ThumbUp

Mornin Everyone! It was a long night, main sewer drain in the basement decided it was gonna rot out. All drain pipes in the house are copper, so I decided to remove all copper drains and put PVC drains in. Got at least 1 toilet and 1 sink and shower working for this morning. Gotta try and finish the project this evening after my hot dog ride, I'm sure it will be another long night!

LOL, the smell of sewerage, yyyuuummmmm! Not only are the drain pipes torn out, but the main bathroom now has walls missing, so I am getting in deeper and deeper by the moment. Now it looks like a complete main bathroom remodel and maybe a complete kitchen remodel, oh boy, just keeps getting better and better.

Not envious of you this morning! Have had my share of problems like that, living in an almost 100 year old home! It's funny, after all the repairs are done, when you use the new plumbing, you marvel to yourself, how nice everything works! Hope all goes well and gets done quickly for you. Have a great day! OB, done that with plastic. Need to do more, but you know how it goes, I'll wait till later to do it.....later maybe 10 years...
47 F in NH...53 all night, till morning cooling....great day with lots of sun shine. Janice is having her coffee out in the farmer's porch, no birds to listen to, but reading the paper..the only birds now are the blue jays and chickadees..Everybody else is heading south...
Going to try and put the pool away for the winter..Save on electricity and chemicals..
Everybody have a great day..don't work to hard..See Nana is keeping the hot dog thing a secret..WOW..her lips are sealed..I guess her Mom didn't tell her it was nice to share! LOL

No secret Rosy, I just forgot! Google Tony Packo's. If you recall, Klinger/mash made the place famous. He was supposed to be from Toledo and talked about TP's hotdogs all the time. It IS a real place that has been there for years, and their dogs are awesome!

I looked up that Packo's place, I found it interesting, I'll have to stop in on one of my trips some day.

Man what a night! getting ready for work last night around 9 pm. Got out of the shower and shaved. Got to look nice for the ladys :wave4:.. Then got something in my eye! OUCH! Washed it out a few times. had my wife look at it more then once. Put in eye drops. Nothing seemed to work. So I kept my eye closed while getting dressed. Got into the car and drove to work. It dark & cool out 58. Got to work still trying to keep my eye closed hoped that would work. Walked in to work and everyone that saw me asked. What's wrong with your eye its all Red ? I tried to stick it out. But it kept bothering me. Couldn't see and it was really red by now. So after about an hr. I went to see the boss. He had No idea what was going on with me. I asked if its ok to just go back home. He looked at me and said Go take care of yourself. I've got you covered. So off I went back to the house. Got back here around 11:30 central time. Put my head back on the recliner and tried to get a nap in. 5 am I work up to get a drink and it was a lot better. So crawled into bed for a few more hrs. So around 8 am I got up and have my wife look at it. Put in a few more eye drops and Now its feels pretty good. It's 3:15 pm and I can see pretty good and most of the redness is gone!....Hope you have a better day then I did ThumbUp

We rode about 230 miles today. It was chilly this morning, but my Gerbings heated vest kept me cozy. We started out just before sunrise, and as we were riding East, it was glorious to watch the beautiful sunrise! On the other hand, we saw deer and coyotes out there too, fortunately none of them were out on the road, but we were very conscious of that possibility!

Just got home from the hot dog run and of course an ice cream run after that. Now off to do some more plumbing, need to get the drains working before Friday!!

No company at OB's house, no kitchen or main bathroom, gee and I was thinking on a visit! LOL
Hope you get everything done in a short time. I know it takes time, not very hard work, just lots of time! I think plastic is a lot easier than copper to run.

Yep, got the kitchen sink and main bathroom sink to finish today! Then the plumbing should be all done. Sherry will have to pick out tile and flooring for the bathroom, after we get back from this coming weekend.
