Chat Room

Morning everyone!
50F here in NH and not a cloud in the sky. Spiritdream should have a great day for going home from the Highlander's Games. Have a great ride home.
Janice is sitting out on the porch having her coffee and reading the paper. I am sitting in the house typing because the sun is so bright, I can't see the screen on my iPad.
Hope everybody has a safe day in TT Land.

LOL, Nana we really were not lost, I knew right where we were, and apparently somehow we wound up in the wrong neighborhood, thought maybe my tires would go missing, so we had to beat feet out of there just in case anyone close by had any ideas!!!

WOW, that sounded like my old neighborhood in NY, midnight auto, and your tires and rims would be missing.
Poor Sherry, I bet she wanted to be out of there very quickly! Next time, give her the GPS to read!
Well Warren, we had a place in Dover with the best steamed dogs going. I remember having Chris's hot dogs when I was in high school. He would park his truck by the high school and we would go out for lunch. Then at night he would park in an alley in downtown Dover for the night. He died in an automobile accident and Dover has not been the same since! Some tried, but it was never the same quality!
Enjoy the best places to eat while they are there, because they could close at any time and be lost forever.......

Good afternoon everyoneThumbUp. Just rolled out of bed an hour ago. Worked last night on boy. Been a little chilly this morning on the way home. 54 and Sunny. Speaking of Hot Dog's. Nana should know about a place in Toledo , Ohio. Tony Pakco's made famous by klinger on MASH tv program. Been there once yrs ago. Other good news of sorts. My lawn tractor just got back from the Doctor's office. Guess all it was. Was a broken head gasket and a bad choke. He just dropped it off an hour ago. So plenty of time to cut the lawn today still. :xzqxz: But got to have my coffee 1st. Ya all have a great evening. ThumbUp

Rosy, OB wasn't lost, we were just touring East St. Louis at 6:30 in the morning. We made numerous u turns & I quit counting the red lights that we rolled through. When we finally parked in front of the Arch for pictures, the sign read "ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING". I guess it was raining too hard for Bandit to see the sign, two ft. square and bright red letters. Lucky for us none of the natives were up yet.

KW, you got that right with the red lights in East St. Louis. I lived there and I will tell you a secret about those lights. If you go 35 mph you will roll through most of them when you hit the first one and it turns green. At that time it seems there were at least 20 lights in a row.
OK, Nana, your secret is out about your hot dogs, trying to keep it a secret, well somebody let the cat out of the bag! Spill the beans!
OB, was never a read sign type of person, I feel like parking here, I'll park! Is that right OB?
Time for supper... Ham slices on the grill, peas, and sesame ginger rice!
See you later! Last one at the table gets none!

Yep, I park where I want to!!!! The rain did not help the situation, and as far as the stop lights, we could not even trip the first one, so we ran through all the red lights!!! Again, the rain did not help, I was really hoping to get a police escort but even they were ignoring me! LOL

Good evening great people. Sorry I haven't been able to check in lately. Spent today at a wounded veteran project. He needed a wheelchair ramp so Habitat for Humanity donated lumber and a few guys so some of my PGR buddies and I donated the labor. We got the base done, all that is left is the rail. Have to get more lumber then schedule another work bee. The vet is happy with the work we have done so far. We feel good about helping a man that gave his health for our freedom.

Good workout at class tonight, then a mile walk and a bath. It feels good to sit down and put my feet up!

It's 9:20 pm time to get ready for my part time job. When I got up this afternoon. I looked in the garage & my lawn tractor was back in it. Yahooooo. Only a head gasket and a bad choke. Starts right up. So looks like Tuesday after I'll be ridin it around the yard for an hr or so. Looks like a wheat field out there. Looks cool when the wind blows over it :D. Temps suppost to be in or around 80 degrees this week. Going to get more time on the Bike hopefully ThumbUp. NANA. Tell them about Tony's in Toledo Ohio. Ok good night Dude's & Dudette
s :wave4:

KW I think I may have to re-think our plans, we may have to leave at 7:01am or 8:01am instead of 6:01am, no sense in getting to the gorge before daylight, wont see much in the dark! or maybe we can?

Just checking in. It's 2:40 pm. On the way home this morning ( 6:30 am) It was 52 degrees. Now after my nap it's 73 & Sunny. Man I'd LOVE to ride the Bike to work at night. But with all the Deer around here at that time 10:30 pm. It's scary as Hell. I've seen them just standing in the rd at night. Guess i'll just go slow and use the car. Only once have I seen a bike at night. On the way into work at that time. Well my lovely wife cut the back 40 for me. So I could get some sleep after work last night. Soooo Maybe I can go out for a quick putt around the area before dark pepper
