Im looking to upgrade my M8 107 and wanted opinions on cams and exhaust to use. I want more tourqe but also want it to sound badass as posssible. I would appreciate opinions on set up and whats needed. I appreciate it.

In order to do this it needs to be a well thought out process based upon your budget , desire outcome ( torque or horsepower). , riding style ( two up or single) and bike. Discussion with someone who has built these is a big help.

For starters a high flow air cleaner and free flowing exhaust are needed. A good tuner , I prefer Powervision, as it allows the most adjustment and if you go with more mods the flexibility to retune. Then based upon desired outcome cam choice.

I’ve done my 2017 Street Glide with S&S 465 cam chest kit, HD heavy breather and Bagger brothers 2into 1 pipe tuned with PV1 and am very happy with results. Loud as F, tons of torque and plenty fast for me, very streetable and rideable.

My 21 TriGlide has Feuling 472 camchest kit with KW hideaway header n slip ons, DK 606 naked breather , tuned with PV1 . You’ll have to choose pushrods if you don’t pull the rockers ( more labor) .

Whatever you choose it has to suit you . tons of videos on YouTube to hear different cams/exhaust combo.

GOOD Luck! The tuner is also only as good as the person tuning it!

The M8 responds nicely to a good air cleaner and a good tuner
Cams are another stage that can make or break a budget

IMO start with the air cleaner and tuner, you will need both of these any way for stage 2-4 Good Luck and check back in (y)

On my 2017 trike I went with a S&S 465 cam, S&S premium lifters,S&S lifter cuffs Fullsac Sport headpipe, TTS tuner with full dyno tune, Screaming Eagle mufflers and a Screaming Eagle air cleaner. For my riding style I couldn't be happier, with 100 ft lbs of torque at 2300 rpm, this combo is perfect for two up riding while pulling my trailer. I can run along at 60 mph in 6th gear and roll the throttle on and it pulls without having to down shift. If I need to pass quickly downshifting is required though

When it comes to cams, if you want a badass thump, you will need to go to a higher duration cam. But the more duration the higher in the rpm range before you get full benefit from torque, so it's a tradeoff of sorts.
