Couldn't be without the fairing and windshield for long. Never had one on any of my two wheelers, but there's something about the position on my Free that just directs an enormous amount of wind blast at me. Put on my Memphis Shades Batwing within a month of ownership. Take it off every so often and always turn around and put it right back on.

I've got a windshield on my Free but on that someday that's not part of the week I hope to get one of those Batwing fairings with the tunes and speakers too. Someday.

Mine on my 14 squeeked so bad until I found it. Put new bolts in it before I traded it on the 21. It’s now a key fastener check on my maintenance list.

Since I redid my crossover exhaust hangar I no longer have that squeak or rattle, It drove me crazy every time I started it, it IMO is a bad design
