Figurati Designs have come up with something that just may be useful unlike the majority of farkles that seem to saturate the H.D. world. A Magnetic Dipstick. It was my idea and they stole it! I lie. But it's a "why didn't I think of that" ...thing. They come with a black or chrome cap. Price is a kick in the nuts...$159-169 bucks thereabouts. Usefull? How TF do I know? Makes more sense than a goofy temperature gauge dipstick or that even sillier transmission cover vent.Think I'll order one to test out.

Maybe you should check the oil circulation routing on the M8.
