Brake Squeal

Have an "08" GL1800 with a Lehman/Manarch II coversion. I recently replaced rear brakes because they squealed real bad. Put new EBC # FA314R brake pads, had both disc rotors machined, and used a Permatex product Disc Brake Quiet on the back of all four pads. This is a spray that is suppose to quiet disc brakes. For the first ten miles everything good. Went for ride the next day, and yes you guessed right, squeal is back. If anyone has experienced this behavior with there trike, please advise. Thanks for any advice.

You should have used the fa314sv instead of the fa314r.

You should chamfer the upper edge of the pad too so it does not over ride the rotor.

Did you have the honda brake recall done ? If not, your brakes might be dragging.

What he said chamfer the leading edge of the pad also.
