Blue Ridge Parkway first time on 3 wheels

Well a few weeks ago, we took our first trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway on three wheels, we had previously done it twice on two wheels on a 2004 Harley Electra Glide Classic and a 2010 Harley Ultra Limited.

I will have to say I think I enjoyed the ride much more on three wheels it was a much more relaxed ride.

I have always rode 2 up with the wife and she also said how much more she enjoyed the ride.

We both still miss the leans, but overall the pros outweigh the cons.

We rode with another couple who had just went from 2 wheels to three and they also enjoyed the ride on three, but this was there first time on the parkway.

We have rode a lot of places and as far as we are concerned the Blue Ridge Parkway is one of the best ride in the US.

Awesome! I miss the Blue Ridge Parkway a ton! Hope to take our trike up there from Arkansas someday soon..

There is one HUGE problem with your post though: NO PICTURES!!

Love the Parkway. Would prefer on two wheels but three offers a new experience. Can stay up with two wheel riders and they can't understand it. Just drift it like a car.

I do the Skyline Drive/BRP/Cherohala Skyway every year coming back from Rolling Thunder. I love every minute of it.

As I said on another thread, I joined some rice rockets once to see if I could keep up. I did for 7 miles. So people that say a TG can't handle are full of _____. :D

I'd wait until you have a few thousand miles on the TG before trying that though.

Good luck with the rest of your travels.

Glad you enjoyed! We did it last year on the TG, and it is MUCH more relaxed than on 2 wheels. :)
