Ultra boy has a 124 S&S but im not sure of reliability i dont want to get a thousand miles away and be at the mercy of mechanics...lol

The 120 sounds great but what is the best way to up the proformance of my 103 on My Harley Flhxxxx. Need alittle extra when in sixth gear running down the road. thanks for any advise!
Seems to be another couple of flies in the ointment
It seems it needs all new exhaust because of size and they prefer 2 into 1 and i have water shields so clearence will be a problem.
also theres just about no way to run without getting a different clutch.
maybe have to go with 60 mm throttle bodys because of cruise.
they are also suggesting a 290 cam
they say the torque will start at about 2k
I was speaking with Steve @ GMR last night and he told me if you want big, pull your stock engine and install the new S&S 124". Its a $5800 crate engine, have the bottom end done and as he put it, "You can have a engine that has the potential to pull close to 140ftlbs of torque and 140hp but you better be hanging on tight!! "
Might be the next size upgrade after I re-do my 117" :laugh:

Well M3 you were right the exhaust is the same so thars one thousand off the top just a couple. More and its turkey time
M3 thats the trottle body and Injectors. they havent figured out the clutch yet or my trage in.
the cam is a se290 i believe he said the torque would start pullinr 1800- 2000 rpm which i think is a great place to start and i am also going to go to the 30 tooth pully as well
probaly going to have to put some bars on the back....lol
i am running a big sucker (k&n) they said i will need somesort of adapter for it Mufflers i am running are those megaphones from rivco because i like the way they sounded on the rune. and they also sound pretty good on the harley as well.
Don't you think the 30 tooth will be an over kill?

Mike or JJ, would I have to send out the motor to get the flywheels plugged and welded?

What does an engine that size do to your gas mileage vs. a 103?
Well i'm off the fence after alot of studing i have decided that the 120 is going to have to stay on the shelf.
My decision was simply the money was more than i wanted and the warrenty was non existent.
so what i decided to do was buy the screaming eagle stage IV kit for 2k
the torque and hp are both over 110, completely factory, and 1/3 the cost.
and a lot easier with warrenty issues.
Nothing like having a 40k trike with no warrenty. so thats why i went with this option.
The kit says except trikes. What is the deal there.
