Day-Long Custom Seats - Anyone running one?

Guys,

I have a Freewheeler; and, as I am sure some of you know, the seating available is very limited. I am thinking about having my stock seat redone and have heard that the Day-Long folks are a good place to get that done.

Anyone here have any experience with them?

Any feedback welcome,

I have one for my 2011 Street Glide Trike. Of all the upgrades I did, this is the one that was the best. Since I got it, I've been able to enjoy my ride without butt/leg pain. Much better than Mustang or Harley Ultra Glide seats I tried!

I have one of their seats on my 2012 Hannigan wing, best money I ever spent. They are not cheap, I have $1,000 in the seat with a 20% discount.

Springman, I've put about 35,000 miles on my RDL, including a Saddlesore1000 and a Bunburner1500. The The folks above said, best mod I've done to my two triglides. If you use the search function, I've done a number of threads about my personal experience. Hopefully they haven't been removed. Good luck. I'm out.

My favorite addition to riding enjoyment.
Initially purchased for my 2010 Ultra, moved it to my 2014 Tri Glide.
Expensive but worth it.

Well, just wanted to let everyone know that after sending 3 emails to Day-Long over the course of 4 weeks I have got no response from them at all....

I guess I have some more looking to do.....

Just called them on the phone (800) 432-9566. 8:00 to 4:30 Pacific Time, Monday through Fridays They are very busy and scheduling for april now. She says she is religious answering her email info@day-long.com. suggest you try them again if still interested. Hope this helps!

Well, I think I will hold off and see what else is out there. I have to confess that I feel I gave it a very good shot and they came up short.

I have the RZ seat and wouldn't have anything else, but if I couldn't get that - then I would have the seat from RDL - they have been around since the 70's. Expensive but it is a CUSTOM made seat, not an off the shelf seat like Mustang, Saddlemen, Corbin, etc.
