My sister lives in Taylor Tx just east of Austin, not sure how far from Hill Country that is but planning a 3 week vacation out that way after retirement.

When you get to retire Steve? Lola posted 2 nice scenic rides to your Sis. Forget the interstate ride. One ride out & the other back. Win Win.

Yeah Steve... don’t take the interstate route at all...2-4 lanes of bumper-to-bumper traffic with backed-up traffic here and there due to all the construction. I have travelled it SEVERAL times in the last year...most recently this past Wednesday... nothing has changed.

We have ridden all winter...it has been pretty mild here in the hill country this year. Let us know when you get here.

We will get to Bandera on mon 2/15. Right now we are enjoying the Beach at Port A.

I already live where I retired since I retired 9 days ago :Coffee: it is going to be 70 degrees here today and the in-laws have a new to them trike so we have been riding every chance we get.
