A V-Twin and a V-4...

A few weeks ago DblTrbl (Dennis) stopped by to visit us. He is a nomad, traveling/living in his Toy Hauler, which carries his trike for him.

We had a great week visiting, and got some riding in too. The entire week the daytime temps were in the mid 90's, but we got a nice ride in, and even got cooled off by a rain shower.

The Trike Dennis has is a Royal Star Venture with a Hannigan Conversion. It is a great looking Trike...and has a water-cooled V-4 in it!

Dennis was in Texas for a few months. I enjoyed riding and visiting with him. He even let me ride on the back of his trike while my Freewheeler was in the shop for routine maintenance.

He is such a kind and good-natured gentleman that I cannot grasp how he came up with "DblTrbl".

I went on many and varied rides with Dennis while he was camped here. DblTrbl??? It was amazing how the deer population was so attracted to that red trike being driven by a man with a white beard...particularly one group of eight comes to mind....no kidding!!
