looking at these photos , what is the piston looking device between the fork and the crash bar. Does this appear to be a fair value. Thanks again. Soon to own a trike just don't know which one.

one question since it's not mentioned, does it have raked triple tree to improve handling?

Look up parts availability there are many parts on my 89 Harley Tour glide ultra that are obsolete and becoming harder to come by.

That Craigslist 86' 1200 I feel is a lot outdated / Has no rake kit hence the steering damper to keep from taking the bars out of your hands on bumps, the 1200 engine left a lot in the engine cases, not much torque or HP as the 1800 has, old solid axle technology from a few years back and I'm sure more parts to change out as you go along... Yes there are trikes out there now that would make a much better ride and deal... as noted check the Classified Section here / click on the Forums Tab above and look down the left hand side toward the bottom of the page.... lots of other Forums also have the same sections or check Cycle Trader or Craiglook and it will Search all of Craigslist.... if money is a problem 6500.00 is not cheeep if it bites you every time you get on to ride.... JUST fyi....
