2014 Air Cleaner

..........Complete meaning backing plate, vent hoses, filter, and cover. If one get the complete air breather and not just the cover it's a direct bolt up. Took me about 15 minutes to change mine.......

Yeah, understand getting everything BUT you must not be running a high flow kit !!! Cause from what I've seen in the AIM it won't fit.

I'm running the stock 2014 complete air breather set up. Not a high flow kit. As I said it's a direct bolt up.
I'll change the stock filter element for a K&N style as soon as some one comes out with one.

Understand being a direct bolt up with the stock equip..

I run a high flow kit wth a K&N filter. I haven't tried to put my 2014 air cleaner on yet but will check on the bolt you listed. Somewhere in my shop I have a stock application K&N 'HD 1508' that I'm going to check to see if it will fit the 2014 cleaner. Now to find it.

Thanks,

Inquiring minds want to know. Let us know. Looking at the pic's of the 14 stock filter element and the K&N 1508 if one could make the bracket on top of the 14 filter that the cover bolts to fit the 1508 it may just work. Wish I had a 1508 here to try it.

Edit: I ran over to my sons house as that is where the stock air breather is off my 11 is. The stock air filter element from my 11 is larger than the stock element from the 14 there for it will not fit in the housing for the 14. I'm assuming all the elements that fit the foot ball on the 13's back would be the same size. If the K&N 1508 is not smaller than the stock one I doubt it will fit. Also the vent hoses would some how need to be redone to make them work. That could be accomplished with some hose and a T fitting I think.

The bracket that holds the cover on is a seperate part, comes right off the filter. And if there is a forth hole in the back of that K&N the vent hose just plugs right into it. I can make pics of the parts if anyone needs em.

If looking for the new 14 air breather one can try looking on their local Craigs List. That's where I found mine. It was brand new taken off a 2014 Street Glide.
I've seen some complete air breathers off the 14's on there ranging from about $30 to $50.

Also here is the info Steve "Lizard" sent me on the bolts to mount just the cover:
Lowes part numbers:

63317 5/16x16/1" hex head bolt
63303 3/8" nut

Couldn't find a 1/2" spacer that would fit on the bolt, so I got the nut to go between the inside of the cover and the filter. Cost me $.32

Geezzer

I picked up a 14 Cover Saturday took the info you provided and went to Lowes for the nut and bolt went to check out and the Girl was searching for the ID numbers, so I said try these, she looked surprised but they did work. Went home and bolted the cover right up.

Thank You for the help.
