2014 ambient air sensor

Does anybody have any idea where the ambient air sensor is on 2014 triglide? Mine was pretty accurate up to a week ago or so. It has since been off a lot. I'd like to take a look at it, but don't no what i'm looking for , or where to look. Thanks

Trike runs fine, Temp is just off maybe 5-10 degrees.

I believe it's under the fairing someplace. Wouldn't the shop/parts manual show the location?

How do you know it's off? What did you compare it against?

The Touring manual says it's located at the left steering head caddy on all radio equipped models. I don't know enough about the Tri yet to begin to get at it but it looks like the fairings have to come off first.

Gary, I have two thermometers in my garage & one in my truck. It used to be the same as those, but not anymore.

It is located on the left side of the bike just forward of the front Gas tank mounting bolt. It is just plugged into the end of the wire harness along the frame at the neck.

Thanks. I checked it out & it seemed to be a good connection, Guess I'll let the dealer replace it.

I usually don't look at the temp very much, it is just hot in this part of the world. On the 07 ultra that temp gauge was on the dash and it made me think it was super hot. At least I have to toggle the switch to see the temp on the tri glide. Jim
