Ok I bought a 93 GL1500 and it has a MPA tire on the front and is running in reverse order. What I have noticed is a real bad buzzing in the handle bars almost feels like a bad wheel bearing. Took tire off and I see the out sides have some cupping and the wheel bearings were bad. So I replaced the wheel bearings and rebuilt the front forks and put the front tire back on and still have that annoying feeling and noise out of the front tire. I was wondering if I replace the front tire with a BT-45 130/70-18 will that buzzing go away. Thanks for any input on this.

Several folks have said they get this "Buzzing" with the MPA. Some say they don't so I can't explain the situation. I can tell you that I've never heard of anyone getting that buzz from a BT45. I'm on my second Battleaxx now running in reverse and have nothing but praise for them.

Hope that helps.

Both Jake Wilson and Motorcycle Superstore have enough tire volume that the chances of having one sit on the shelf for years are pretty small, esp in the more popular sizes that we use.I have bought on a regular basis from both and gotten good tires and good service.I prefer Jake Wilson as they are local to me and I can take the wheel to them for mount and balance.
