Well I have come to a decision on which trike kit to buy. But my next dilema is what to do with the saddlebags. I have some custom pinstripeing on them. It seems like a waste to sell them. I would like to convert them to the wheeless tag along trailer like cool custom trikes has on their website. But upon talking to them they no longer sell the 1500 kit. Just the 1800 kit. I really like this idea.....no bearings to worry about or tires to buy!!! It slides into the receiver hitch like a cooler rack. So any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Scott. PM me your email address and I'll send you a bunch of info showing how I build me TAG from my '06 GL1800 bags. I don't see why you could not do the same with minor changes with your left over pieces and parts. :xszpv: :xszpv:

I made a set for my trike and made a little slide show video to try and help someone else if they wanted to do the same thing. I just got back from a trip that I used it on and like using it better than the trailer. The second link down in my signature is to the video. Like Gold Rush just let me know if I can help.
