Not familiar with rear suspension on the trike. Just wondering if the single rear shock goes out? It has the load adjustment and looking under there looks like it may be leaking or has leaked at one time. Then it has the smaller spring shock up ahead of the full size one more towards the front of the bike. Can someone shed some light on their function? And to check if their good or bad?

Thank you

I had my Lehman shock go out around 63,000 on my trike. When mine went the whole lower part of the shock was covered in oil and I had a small oil stain under the shock under the trike on her parking mat fom oil dripping down. Its not much but substantial enough when looking at the shock you should be able to recognize the issue.

Do you know what makes the shock go up and down on the button hydraulic fluid? And what is the smaller shock up in front of the bigger shock? If you happen to know?

My factory adjuster on the trikes shock is manually adjustable. You have to take their (Lehmans)wrench and manually adjust the preload on the spring from underneath. Mine is usually set in the middle position. The front shock nearest the engine is the Honda shock. That shock is hydraulically adjustable by the Hondas factory suspension switch.
