why doesn't my champion trike have a Vin number but no manufacturer date

I had a 2008 Champion prior to the Roadsmith conversion I now own. Same seat which moved to the Roadsmith. The Champion sure was purdy.

I always like Champion, for straight axle I thought they rode good & handled good, easy to maintain, price was more than fair, I must have put 75000 miles on them. ENJOY
