What did you do to Your Tri-Glide Today?

Swapping the transmission cover for a vented one with a one way valve and filter. This is on the newer 23 models I believe the CVO . I installed the external breathers but I’m still getting oil in my filter so I trying this fix.

Put all the drain plugs back in and changed oil filter and topped off with oil. Went to my cabinet and discovered that I was out of transmission fluid and primary fluid. Dang it! Tried to order Lucas primary oil of Amazon and it wouldn't be here until June 23-July 17th. Nope, so of to the HD shop on Wed.

After getting a full release from my back surgeon (No Restrictions), I took a ride on my trike for the first time since Maggie Valley last September. Did about 150 miles on back roads. Limited to 2500 RPM and 55 MPH on new 131 engine. Got an appointment in a couple of weeks in Arizona to get it on the Dyno. A Harley 131 Stage 4 engine that was assembled at some Automotive shop in Springfield, MO. according to the shipping label on the box that the engine came in that had one water cooled head and one oil cooled Head installed.

I installed DK Customs external breather and Chrome bobber air filter system. The trike already had vance and hines slip ons installed so looks like a tuner is next purchase.

Brought the trike home from getting the NextGen shocks & Imitators installed, only a 6 mile ride on a 4 lane road so no reports yet. It's been raining every day here off and on so I don't know when we're going to give the trike a workout.

I had the DK Customs Intimidators and NexGen shocks installed on my 2025 Triglide. My wife likes the smooth ride in the rear but I sometimes think the front end is bottoming out? It's soft. Might be my inexperience in riding a trike. This is my first. Maybe I am riding the bike too hard? I had the dealer install the parts before I took possession of the bike.

I removed the 6 piston front calipers on my 17 trike, they keep failing to release and have the rotors almost black from heat. And yes,I have the fluid changed every 2 years, they will drag even after just having the fluid changed. So, I am installing a set of 4 piston calipers off of a street glide that I just rebuilt. Since my trike does not have ABS it shouldn't throw any codes. I have had issues with the brakes on this trike since new, They have replaced two calipers and rotors under warranty several years back. All the people that I ride with have 4 piston calipers on their trikes and do not have any issues and since HD has gotten away from these style calipers there must be a reason. I have searched everywhere even Brembro and no one has a rebuild kit for these calipers. They have 4 regular size pistons and 2 small pistons between the large ones. Time will tell if I have the issue solved.

We got a 110 mile ride in the other day with the new nexgen shocks and intiminators, wow, what a difference these make. The bike feels much more, I guess the word is "attuned" to the road now and no more jarring on the bumps, money well spent in our opinion.

Installed Vance and Hines slip-ons. Tomorrow I will be picking up my service manuals, trailer hitch, tuner, and high flow wedge air cleaner. Those will all have to wait until next week, once I get back from my Quebec long haul run, to get installed.

After replacing the rt exhaust clamp (TAB muffler kept sliding off), rode Wildlife loop and Needles Highway [in Custer State Park, SD] today. Needed it to relax since yesterday's hailstorm dented the Tri-glide front fender, dented the hood and roof of the truck and put a hole in the RV's skylight. South Dakota weather - unpredictable!

Installed the High flow air cleaner Stage 1 kit, SE Pro Street Tuner and Kuryakyn Armwrests. The new air cleaner and tuner really woke up the TG and made the V&H mufflers growl.
Didn't bother with installing the Screaming Eagle applique onto the cover. Felt it would just be a pain taking on/off when checking the filter.

Cleaned the wheels, sprayed it down with Lucas Quick Mist, replaced the front turn signal lenses with smoked ones. Got the smoked tour pac side lights today just waiting on the rear tour pac lights and mufflers to come in.

We got in a 109 mile round trip for a new to us breakfast place, food was good, decent prices.

I put my winter windshield on, changed out my highway pegs, put the soft lowers on.

Then went for a 80 mile putt with Mary.

I made a helmet perch on the l/s handlebar. Used RAM mount post with size B ball (1”). Used 1 1/2” white PVC w / end cap. Used a RAM 6” arm. Lined the inside of the PVC with bunk carpet for a tight fit and finished with some spray paint. Hung my G Rage Door Opener below that.

After pining for a few weeks over all the issues I've have with the radio on my trike, I bit the bullet and installed the Soundstream V2. Not a bad install at all. Follow any one of the YT clips on the install. No surprises. The difference is pretty much nite and day. I added the mic and a rear view camera is on its way. Pretty excited about the camera. being 76 I have a hard time turning 180 degs. to see if I'm backing into something. Looks great also!

Replaced my HD standard heated grips with HD Kahuna heated grips.
The standard heated grips were worn through near the switch on the left side to the point you could see the wires.
They have been on the bike about 8 years and 93K miles.

Also installed a refresh kit for the DK Transformer EBS system.
After we got home from a 1400-mile trip last month started smelling oil as we pulled in the driveway.
Found that when I installed the system, I pinched an O-ring on the back breather bolt.
Checked DK's site and found they had a refresh kit available. As usual they are thinking of everything.
It went 12700 miles before it showed itself.

Heading to Yellowstone in a few days so I installed the RickRak GoPro Deluxe Mount for Triglide (they are on sale by the way). Also installed DEI Heat Shield Liner Kit (NOTE: I needed a new rear hose clamp for the rearmost heatshield, the one that was on it was 1/4 too short).

I would like to hear more about this. Did you have to change the master cylinder ? I have the right hand caliper off a 13 street glide down in my basement, so i would just have to hunt down the left side. I have had on going issues with my front brakes on my 15 tri since new too.
