Where Do You Park Any Cool Garage Pics

Ah, come on now. You can ride in the snow.

Oh “cold shaming” me A? 🥶 Ok ok … I’ll do it! When it starts snowing here, I’m on it for sure. 🫤 (maybe not)

Last Saturday was absolutely spotless out. A beautiful painted blue sky and not a drop of rain in sight. We put on our best winter stuff (knowing it was freezing out) and got ready to ride … it was way too cold and we weenied out.

I think the combo of living our lives in 85* Ft Laud and my new status as retired old guy has put a damper on my tolerance for freezing cold weather at 60mph 🙁

I’ll add my set up to this thread….

6 years ago, we bought a ranch style house which has a 2-1/4 attached garage.

We redid the floor (polyaspartic coating) and added an overhead gas Reznor Heater to it.
The middle is for the wife’s car … but the RH side is the “Bike” area.

I also bought a Titan XLT-E 1500 bike/trike lift (recently discontinued) that I use for any bike and of course my trike. I modified a few things & custom made a few things including rear wheel chocks and rear jack stands to accommodate the Tri Glide better…This way I can safely perform any front or rear maintenance with safety in mind too.

Nice setup Brett. Having the right trike lift, the right tools and good lighting makes all the difference.
Thank you & Yes sir, absolutely!
Other than the trike, the 2nd best investment is the lift! Not only is it convenient to do ANY maintenance (whether it’s doing oil changes, tire changes, or anything else mechanical) it’s also the perfect parking spot for it.

I do all the work on my son’s Dyna Switchback, but also a couple good riding buddies come over in spring for their oil changes and any small maintenance. (We know we can count on each other for favors). The tool box is outfitted quite well from over the years with great tools, and I also have 4 welders, (2 mig, a Tig & a stick) and yes…LEDS in the garage are very efficient and quite bright so great lighting is a plus to do any project! (Almost at 59 yo… all the above really helps)! Lol!

(And of course once any jobs are completed or any downtime ….a few “cold ones” and the dart board is put to use! 🍻)

I hear ya! I almost did not go out for a ride the other day in the snow.

My bikes have been my only daily driver for decades, but the last couple of years I have been using Mary's truck more and more on the colder days.

Well is not that cool of garage yet but here is my new home in Pennsylvania with an empty detach garage, but soon will have my Tri Glide park inside. ;) Photo was taken when we closed end of September. Currently there is not a single leaf on those trees.

What a beautiful new home … I love the detached garage. Endless opportunity. Very nice
