Lift Kit

Welcome to TT from Ohio. This is the introduction section.. May get more response in the "TriGlide" section of this forum.

I did a 1,5 lift kit on a freewheeler. It should be the same a Tri glide. I forget the brand but the hardest part was taking off the bracket for the parking brake on the left side of the bike . I had to search for the correct size allen . Other then that it was easy. The only trouble you may have is putting a bolt in that you need to jack the bracket up to get it in.

I don't have any experience with the Legend lift kit but I do know there is a spacer you have to use for the mufflers and basically I can't see where that would help, with the spacer it lowers your mufflers down and IMHO a lift kit is supposed to lift the rear end to prevent the dragging of the mufflers. You might want to look into DK's lift kit, most on here have that one and me included.

Just a thought, hope you find what you are looking for

All for now Trampas

I have had them on my 2017 Tri Glide for the past 3 years. I also have the Legend Revo-A shocks. I have put over 27,000 miles on them and can tell you that they are awesome. Both the handling and ride comfort for me and my wife has been greatly improved. The spacer is needed for 2017 and up trikes in order to clear a weld seam on the exhaust. The spacer allows you to get the full 1 1/2" lift. I have never had an issues with ground clearance to the pipes. I believe the spacer is only a 1/4" thick. I have driven the trike in 8 different states on all kind of roads. In November, I purchased a new 2021 Tri Glide and had the these swapped from my 2017 Tri glide to the new 21 Tri Glide. That is how happy and impressed I am with them.

I have no reason to lie about my experiences with the Legend lift kit and Revo-A shocks that are installed on my Tri glide and I am offended that you think that is what I have done. It seems that every time I answer someones question about Legend products in a post, I am attacked for stating that I think they are a good product. I appreciate that DK customs is one of the sponsors of this site, but I have had good experiences with my Legend products and feel I should be free to share my opinion. I have only responded to someone else's post and never started a post touting Legend products.

All the spacer does is move Muffler down 1/4" lower from the frame. It doesn't move anything else. As I stated I have driven 3 years, over 27,000 miles thru 8 states and on all kinds of roads that were in all kinds of conditions from smooth to absolutely awful. Never once did the mufflers or any other part of the trike drag or hit anything. So you can take what I have experienced and $6.00 and that will buy you a cup of coffee at Starbucks,:) If you have any questions contact Legend and I am sure they will help you out.
