I am trying to replace my pipes to a 2 into 1. I have v&h big radius and can not find a pipe that clears the champion kit. They all are either to long or turn up. the trike is a 2011 fxdf hd fat bob with a champion solid axle. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks DAGO

I have a Supertrapp 2:1 on my FXLR.

My kit is a Lehman but they are similar.

I mocked up the exhaust for routing and length and bought a piece of stainless exhaust (proper size) on eBay.

It was already bent 180 degree and I cut the middle of the bend and made an s-pipe.

It works and nothing hits.

Lee, thanks for the links and picture.

Is that a ss trap or cs? I do not have a tig welder.

What if anything did you do for a heat shield?

Did you have to change or modify the mounting bracket?

That offset looks like a pro did it. You are a talented man my friend. Thanks DAGO

I was able to fit it without modifying the collector tube.

I have a Stainless version of Supertrapp that is no longer made.

The heat shield was a modified heat shield that I had hanging around the shop.

Just dresses it up a bit.

Your exhaust is mounted to the engine, so any brackets need to be free-floating.

I used rubber bushings on the rear hanger.

Thanks again for the info.

It gives me an option on how to plan this mod.

You did a nice clean job on that trap set up.

How many discs do you run?

I ran one on a evo and loved it. THANKS AGAIN DAGO

I am running between 16 and 20 discs. I had a racing cap on it and put the standard one back and added 4 discs. I haven't run it enough to read the plugs or even do a real tune on the carb and timing. No DYNO for it yet......
