Took mine off today

On a 55 mile ride my Engine Temp dropped 10*

I am going to leave them off, the air temp today was 85* with high humidity and rain

If I can keep my ET under 289* all the time I will be happy, I am keeping the Mighty Mites running along with the D K Customs Cooling air Deflectors:clapping:

Always thought they were a stupid idea.Motor runs hot enough as it is.Stupid E.P.A.Stupid bureaucrats. I hate bureaucrats. Especially D.O.T. bureaucrats. I hate those little bags of peanuts the airline gives to you.The bag never tears open right.Dam peanuts go flyin everywhere.Down the low cut blouse of the pretty young thing sitting next to you snoozing. You know you want to reach down there and get that peanut.Nothing sexual,I just want my stray peanut back. Its my peanut stuck between her big boobs.Mine I say.

I pulled my fairing lowers off three weekends ago as we finally have consistent warm weather here in Virginia. I have the mid frame deflectors and have debated whether to keep them on or not. My Freewheeler has Luv Jugs, DK front tank lift and DK deflectors as warm weather here in Virginia is hot. The mid frame deflectors were put on when I first got the trike so maybe they should come off.

That number aint too bad, but I bet ya the Mighty Mites can bring it down some more

Kevin and a HD tech friend of mine agree Harleys slow down if not stop making usable power during tuning @ 245-250* That said IMO why take chances @ blowing seals and wasting your engine;)

( I always say stick your head in an oven Is it hot in there ) :p

DK’s Kevin has been playing with the removal of one deflector so the air comes in and goes out. With both it will trap air turbulence at the rear cylinder. Common sence help :clapping:

So I need to check where mine are if a Freewheeler has them. Anybody got a picture or a description of what they look like, where they are? Does the tank have to come off to see/remove them?

I was going to reply to this thread but then after the last post I thought......no, maybe not. Not sure what that was about.

Sunman

Its about if you have them, Then You don't want them, And if you don't have them then you want them.......:xzqxz:......
