Finally got my bike back from paint!

Very well done.... Congrats

Like the new nacelle. Are the hole patterns for the tin on the FLRT the same as a Road King at the attach points? Or do you have a set of raked trees for a Road King employed?

At first looking at the first set of pictures "I thought I was back at Woodstock in 1969" .....Nice looking bike yea got there! keep her clean!

The tree is an Arlen Hess 7 and 7. I think it was meant for a Road King or Street Glide if I remember right. The nacelle needed a wedge (from the rake) to keep the headlight from coon hunting adjusted to functional was $400. :xzqxz: I really like it though. The front tire is a 23".

I experimented with several different wheel/tire combo's before I got it right. The ones on there are very close to the originlp tire height but the fenders are much tighter. Those are 275/40/18 BFG speed rated tires. It does make it look lower, but nearly everything is close to stock except the length overall.

Thanks folks! It was excrutiating, fun and completely worth all the time, money and effort. I have experience building cars and trucks... but this was way different. So much stuff had to be hand-fab'd. I imagine there will be way more aftermarket stuff out soon.

license plate holder

Great looking bike, I noticed the relocation of the rear plate, could I ask how you did it, I'm in Ontario so no one will know you've been copied

Thanks

Ted

I will have to ask the guy that helped me put it together where he got that mount. I bought the black lighted frame and we were going to french it into the trunk, but he found that mount and I liked it. I know I paid for it but not sure where he got it.

By any chance sharing the part number on the wheels and tires beautiful machine. very very nice... :victory: Ride safe Fred

Blake, it looks awesome!

I have a question about the tank and trunk graphics.

Is that a decal you got & put a clear coat over it?

I would like to know where you got it. I like it.

Yes sir. I will look at my receipts and see if I have the info. The front wheel is a different make... The rears are MotoMetal 18"×9". They were the closest match to the front I could find. I'll try to get the info and post it here tonight or tomorrow. ThumbUp
