What a waste of machinery that was.

Lots of good cars got knocked out including my choice.

So at the end I was pulling for Eric and just like my other choices, he finished on the back of a wrecker instead.:(

Ya know, NASCAR is getting more like football .... seems like the last 2 minutes of the game last for hours !!!:qpnmt:

Not the same as left turners, as I was a Right turner for 10 yrs (SCCA National Road Racing) The goal is to win , all drivers know if they are or are not faster/better than the one in front of them. Unfortunately auto racing is a servival game as well as a stradigy game. If the leader has to block to keep his/her position , they know there could be concenquences, sometimes your the bug and sometimes your the windshield. If you can’t out run the bear, the bear gets you. And that’s the way it is.

No I did not hit the 200 mph mark , but things happen fast, like when that deer desides to cross in front of you. Your aware that it could happen but don’t know where or when.

I think there should just be a rule that obvious blocking isn't allowed. But just like the bump/lock-up rule, they'll push it as far as possible. But this blocking to stay in front is just asking for an accident to happen.

On the other hand, is the racing on Saturday any different?
