Hello Trikesters, I looking at purchasing a TriGlide. What I would like to know from you out there, what is the average gas mileage you guys and gals get on your TriGlides. Doesn't matter what year model or what upgrades you have, if you do reply just put what you have and the average mpg. I haven't purchased yet, just gathering info. Anyone can reply even if they have some other trike. Info is needed.

Welcome to trike talk from Pennsylvania

32-34 average considered standard go from there. lot of unkowns... wind weight of riders 1 or 2 up. fuel good stuff or poor corn grade. Welcome the three wheel world you will never look back. Ride safely Fred

2014 TG. My MPG varies wildly, depending on how I ride and other variables.

25 mpg in heavy headwind...40+ in easy slower riding.

Normal (for me) everyday riding is in the mid 30's.

The M8's (2017) are getting better MPG than the '16 and earlier.

2011 Tri-Gilde.....true duels stage 1......36 To 38 MPG consistently...Always Adult driven;) And only Solo, Cause no one is willing to ride with me:Shrug::xzqxz:

MPG On Your Trikes

Gas mileage average riding solo at 60 mph to 75 mph is about 34 mpg.

Gas mileage average riding solo at under 60 mph or less is about 37 mpg.

Trike specs are outlined in the signature line.

2015 Freewheeler with VIEDs, de-catted head pipe, EBS and K & N air filter and I get 32-33 riding 60 - 65 mph. Will get 35 - 36 riding single below 60 mph. If I ride 70 plus mph the mileage will be around 30 mpg depending on headwind, etc.

2015 TriGlide, riding 2 up always, stock engine, stock exhaust, using 90 octane non-ethanol gas: 32-36

I left the house yesterday morning for a trip to the VA clinic. Maybe 15 miles one way.Swung by the physical therapist on return.1 mile out of the way.Roughly 30 miles round trip.Had a 1/2 tank on start,1/4 tank when I got home.

In my opinion--that sucks and I don't like it.Man spends more time refueling than riding.

About 180 miles on a tank for me. But what I did notice that Mobil 93 gives the best mileage. My FLH with a 5gal tank gets 150 miles, however it's got lots of motor mods.

Did not care about mpg's on the toys, I figured all fun costs ya something

Just had a SE 120 ST engine installed. Previous mileage was close to 40 mpg with out ethanol. Now only 300 miles on the 120 ST and it has been 25-26. Hope that will improve when I get it Dyno tuned.

A lot depends on where you ride also. I get an average of 36mpg chasing around the flatlands but that goes up to 40 or better at higher elevations. I have done as well at 48 in the Rockys. GL1800 Endeavor trike. Before triking I got 3mpg better on average.

Always ride 2 up on our 2016 Tri-Glide. I don't check the mileage much but when I have it's been 32 to 34. Since we are talking about it I will start checking it more.

Jack, 44? Wow

1 and 2 up cruising the 2 lanes and back roads around Southern Indiana I get 36-39.

I got on I65 and run 70-80 for quite a bit and it dropped to 32 but that was the only time so far.

I will know more when we ride down to Gatlinburg later this month.

Yup, The M8 or I say the 4Head is amazing, thanks to D K Customs

I dunno how much more it will take BUT I am very HAPPY

It cools down right quick too Moochooo better than the Twin Cam

Today I saw 324 temp No pinging or spark knocks

In traffic, on the road it settled back to 300 fast

You may have just sold me on upgrading to the M8!

44.5 mpg today solo @78mph 2780 rpm

If my math is correct....

244.75 Miles on 5.5 gal....I didn't figure the miles at 6 gal. Cause you don't want to run out.. But either way thats fantastic...

By the way does your Freewheeler have a digital tachometer...
