I'm starting this thread so that I (and anyone else who wants to join in) can share daily adventures, observations, experiences & photos of owning and riding a Harley-Davidson.

**************************

It's beginning to warm up in northern Mississippi, so I'm much more likely to be riding my Sporty or Softail, than the Tri-Glide.

It'll be another 9-10 months before I'm riding in the snow again. :)

A couple of photo's from just 2 months ago, when it was 25* -

Had about 3 short rides today just running different errands. Starting to make final plans and getting motorhome and motorcycle trailer ready for 4 month road trip. In the middle of travels will be attending Deadwood rally. Had to switch to shorts and a sleeveless shirt in the early afternoon because it made it to 88 degrees. :scooter:

Good for you Joe :clapping: That's the #1 American dream 👍

Looks like my glamping season will be short this year. Can't get past the 50* mark

Seams like all it can do around here is rain. I know in the middle of summer we will want it but right now I just wish it would stop for a while.

This March has been on average cooler than this February was, The last time that happen was in 1960....

Wow! 4 months on the road! ThumbUp I am still looking forward to being able to do that!!!

This morning I enjoyed a 20 minute ride to the shop, and I might take 30 minutes to ride home.

take 30 minutes to ride home.

DK, Ya know there is a "fine art" to getting lost on the way home from work.

PC

Hey PC,

You inspired me....yesterday I practiced the "art" and it took me 45 minutes to get home. :)

Storming here in North Texas . . . got the itch and rode to work today. I hope to ride tomorrow as well. ;););)

Strong storms here today, along with no desire to mess with rain suit, conspired to motivate me to borrow Marys' truck to get to work this morning.

Kevin

Now yer gettin the hang of it. The longer ya stay at it ya might get that trip home up to 3 hours or so. My ride home was normally 20 minutes too. I ate quite a few cold suppers by myself. Once I got Ma trained I'd come home, pick her up and we'd eat supper a couple hours away from home. That seemed to work lots better.

Went out to the garage and talked to the trike after the heart cath today. I told her to get ready that we would be hitting the road again in about 2 weeks. Jim

It's gonna be like Christmas in 2 weeks! :)

70 & sunny, perfect day for riding.

But I have a few parts to install, and a bunch of maintenance that needs doing in the shop...might have time to ride tomorrow.

Went for a 4 hour putt...sure was nice!

Stopped about halfway and saw Devin at his home. He was washing his RZR sidebyside.

Went for a little ride in it. That thing is crazy!

Was good to get back on the bike and continue my afternoon wanderings on some Mississippi county roads. :)

I just finished installing my tank lift kit on my "16" TG. The weather is crummy but had to take a short ride anyhow. Love the look Thanks Kevin/DK. I ordered on Wed. and had it on Sat. it doesn't get any better than that!!

Thanks man. Glad you got out for a bit. :)

That child has got potential!

For sure!

Not as much fun as riding...but some things gotta be done before i can ride the bike that's in my minds eye.

About a year and a half ago a Customer (Soren) from Denmark let us know he was going on a Group Harley Tour of part of the USA and would be passing thru our area.

Today is the day! :)

Meeting him and a bunch of riders from Europe this afternoon over in the Mississippi Delta.

We'll ride a bit together today, then tomorrow we'll be doing some more riding and a tour of the shop.

Friday the group rides on to Nashville and then on to the Smokeys, before riding down to Florida for the end of their trip.

After corresponding with him for over a year, really looking forward to meeting Soren in person, and showing him some riding around our country roads!

I get to see and hear all kinds of bikes going past the house. Can't get mine out if I wanted to. Deep into a complete excavation of our foundation and repairs to it (Flood back late Sept. FEMA event). We hope to takea break on Saturday and enjoy a short lunch time ride.

Wow Ken, feel your pain :gah:

And I thought I had water bsmt problems.

I had a street main brake filling up mine, water dept would not admit it till I started digging and found it for them.

Ack! That looks more like "a week, or month, in the life of"! Hope they get it back to "like new" for you.
