What did you do to Your Tri-Glide Today?

Big feet, lol

For the first time in over a year I had to clean boot marks off the exhaust today, took about an hour to clean and polish. The best part is I have the floorboard extensions and a heel guard too! I must have put my foot on the exhaust as I was mounting up after getting gas is the only thing I can think of. I'm going to pay more attention to my right foot from now on, was not fun sitting on the cement floor doing the cleaning.

Rebuild

I picked up my 2010 trike this morning.
The extended warranty surely paid for itself today!
New flywheel, cylinders, and numerous parts, etc etc,
amounted to just 5 thou. - cost me 50 buck ded, NICE!
Dealer said sticky (?) flywheel & blown head gasket.

Now ready for another 75 thou. miles!!!!!

:pepper: :pepper:

What in the world is hanging under your left side?? Looks like you been "Off Roading" or something!! :gah:

Too Funny...I have front floorboard fringe.....but sure looks like I'm dragging something.....lol

But now that you have brought it up, I'm looking for a Custom set of floorboard trim. I'd like to have the fringe much longer {at rest basically right to the ground} So the length would be longer in front as the boards are angled. Anyone have an idea - I'm coming up empty - Thanks

Carry a list. Check things off as I go. Bigger problem is not loosing the list.

I never lose my list when i go shopping.. But most times forget i have one with me... Then i bounce around the store guessing what i need to buy....:xzqxz: Some days i really shouldn't leave my house unescorted......

I'm well known for doing that too. About the time my jeans go in the wash ..............

Btw, never moved the trike out of the garage. Late yesterday afternoon I installed the fairing vent grill screen that I'd bought for the Limited Low a year ago. :AGGHH: Oh well ........ Now it's on the trike and it said to let the adhesive set up for at least 24 hrs. Sure am glad it got up to 90 today. :clapping:

Oh No! Another test pilot :AGGHH: Gota have them. Good luck and post results.

Hope it stays warm up there long enough for you to get some decent riding time in. With a good set of gloves and insulated gear, you could ride all winter if the roads are clear out where you are. Hated being up in Lake County. Way too much lake snow effect.

'Nother day of rain .................:gah:Almost rode it to church this am. Glad I didn't. So ............. all I can do is look at it in the garage. :AGGHH:

I installed floor board extenders and kuryakyn passenger pegs so the misses has more foot positions.
Spent some time yesterday with my Son and made a two flag holder to fit my home made receiver hitch. Saturday at the Veterans Day Parade in Weatherford I can run the American Flag and Army Flag. I normally just run one big flag (3' x5') but wanted to run two for parades.

I've done nothing with my TG for weeks...except move it a few times. Been so busy testing front suspension on other bikes.

But am going to be doing an oil change in the next day or two and be riding it everyday for the next few weeks! :)

Just checked the tie link bolts and their still tight after 5 thousand miles.
I guess the new full threaded #8 bolts and loc-tite #268 stick work ThumbUp
I'll still keep the 9/16's box wrench in the trunk at all times' And check them often' Better safe than sorry..

Latest addition

Just put a set of Custom Dynamic front led turn signals on my 2016. Also replaced the stock lenses with the smoked style. Extremely happy with the look and the easy install. Much brighter running and turn signals now. Never a bad thing.

Just rode in from work this evening, a bit chilly and dark. Funny thing is the temperature was 63* this morning and coming home it was 64* somehow it felt colder, oh well... Riding home tonight i've realized that people are now twice as stupid since he switch of daylight savings time. :gah: gave the ol' horn a workout, don't know if they couldn't see me or were too distracted
