I'm in the process of changing out air bags on my 2006 GW motor Trike. I'm having problem getting the air connection off of the top of the air bag. I can turn the nut around the air connection and by turning it the connection has loosened. However I can't get it out or off? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bill, which year/model kit do you have?

I have the 2006 Motor Trike. Since I started this tread I discovered the problem. The previous owner used super glue or something like it in the compression fitting which won't allow the air line to release so I could screw out the fitting. Problem solved when I broke the fitting trying to get the line to release. Ended up being the best thing as it will be easy to replace. I was able to get the old air bag out in less than a minute. My new air bag which is much improved and robust will fit right in place. It appears there is plenty of room between the air bag and the tire. I'll post some photo when I get the job complete as it may help someone else.
Now to find parts on a holiday weekend:(

OH BOY!!! You are asking a lot. Maybe one of the auto parts stores would have one. I redid the air lines on a friend's '02 a few years ago. Found all the pieces I needed locally at a mechanical supply place.

Good luck !! :xszpv::xszpv:

I must be living right as it took only two quick stops at AutoZone and Advanced auto to have all the parts needed. Total cost for the parts including new air line 12.97. Now on to finish this up and see how it rides.
