I pulled my top shelter to do several tasks. When putting it back on, I found a plug and can't find the mate. It's a black 10-pin connector with only one row of pins used. It's not a short plug, It's pretty long.
The cable comes up behind the ECM and is long enough to almost plug into the meter panel.
If anyone has a clue, let me know what you think. Thanks

I found where it goes. I guess I needed to back off and clear my head. It goes to the back of the panel that holds the info and setup buttons.
Thanks for your fast response. Always nice to know that there are still people out there that care.

Well I really didn't get it fixed.I put it all back together and messed up somewhere. I don;t have a tach, radio, cb, or gas gauge. Gonna have to do it all over again tomorrow.

Before you pull it down, check the tail light fuse first !

When you fix it, take pics and keep them for the next time you need to work on it!
Not that this is your problem but, it seems the Honda connectors are prone to have bent/broken pins. This is an improvement Honda needs to make, as in, better/stronger connectors for the one that must be disconnected from time to time. Lots of threads, over time, of bent/broken pins on several forums!
Let us know what you find. Thanks

I checked all the fuses, they're good. Let me explain how this happened.
My cruise control ptt was broken inside, I could feel it. I decided to replace it. I bought a used one off ebay from Sun Coast Cycles something in Fla. Since this required pulling the top shelter, which I've never done, I decided to change the air filter and adjust the cruise control also. When I put it all back together, some things aren't working.
What does work is all the driving and running lights, time of day, trip log, and odometer. It does start and rev up using the throttle. I've been looking for something that is related to all these conditions.
Heck of a way to spend a nice weekend.

Check all the plugs that you disconnected to do your service work. There is a plug that is not fully engaged in the socket. Make sure they snap when plugged. Did you disturb the instrument panel. Sometimes those plugs behind the gauges were not snapped fully from the factory.

I found a plug in the back of the instrument panel not snapped in. Plugged it in fully, now it's good to go. The only thing not working is the LED display for the rear shocks. I'll check with Motor trike during the week.
I couldn't get my phone in there to take a pic, it's tight. Thanks for the help.
