Thanks to Ray Monroe, we now have the part number for the trunk struts!!

Stabilus SG 406024 hatch lift support. Center to center for the strut is 7 1/4".

LiftSupportsDepot.com is where I ordered mine from. Ordered them on Friday and they were in my mail box Monday!!

I do a lot of work on rv's replace a lot of gas lift cylinders in them and I get them on line at "orr and orr" in Chicago Il.,,,, if you are around Elkhart / Shipshewanna Ind. area you can get some great prices at rv surplus stores
may be cheaper I don't know-worth a look!!

I just found out that the part number above has a center to center of 7.7". Ray had his struts installed by someone else and I did not know the center to center measurement was not as the original strut which is 7.25 as measured by a tape measure.

I did order and install ones from LiftSupportDepot.com that has a measurement of 7.5". I had to compress the strut with a clamp to get it on and all seems fine. the part number is; StrongArm 6914. The cost is $13.50 each plus shipping. Good luck!!
