Probably five hours away. No direct way to get there. We visit friends in Floyd Co. She's about 1/2 hour from them.

Three hours South. The Historic Triangle area- Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown.
I can see the Yorktown Victory Monument from my window in the Winter when the leaves are gone.

I've always wanted to visit that area. I'm a big history buff. Never been to DC either. One day....one day.

SORRY ! But been getting up at the crack of 7 am and hitting the streets. Either for breakfast or off to see family at this time. I used to be up all night when I worked at G.M. Even afterwards I was a late nighter for yrs & yrs. I guess my system has re configured itself now. Usually by 11:30 pm and Midnight I'm headed off with Ozzie to bed:Shrug: after about 17 hrs of being up. During the evening hrs wife and I have certain TV programs we watch and or catch up on ones we missed. Thanks to Direct TV and and the DVR and the Football channels in have now. It's a full day on Sat & Sundays games ThumbUp
. Watched one HELL of a game last night between the Arizona Cardinals & the Cinn Bengals !!!!! Came down to the wire on that game but AZ pulled it out ThumbUpepper:. ok it's 8:05 am time for a shower. Got to run my ladder over to my Bud's home here in a few mins. Yeah, too bad that game wasn't horseshoes or hand grenades, cause I'm a Bengals fan.
And hey, when I get the chance to sleep at night, I do. I've worked midnights since December of '06, with a 3 month break of evening shift in '08. Just when I'm at work to I stay on here.I'm hearin' ya when it comes to programs. The wife records the programs we watch, and on the weekends, I come in from work, fix breakfast, then we watch TV for a couple of hours to get caught up. One of our faves is The Black List. I've got a couple of weeks of catching up to do on it.
Never thought I'd see James Spader play a badass. Dang, he makes a good one.
Speaking of 'weekends'--this is my Friday. Not that I get to rest any. My girls are out of school, and I have 2 dr appts today. One at 10:30, and one at 2:45. I'll have to drag the girls with me. One of them is special needs, and I'll be taking her into the exam room with me. Oh the joy. She'll be alright as long as the doc doesn't mind her playing with his shoes.

Also like the Major Crimes its a good show that has some twist & turns. Every night we have at least one show that we watch most of the time its 2 or 3. Well can't chat too much now. Headed over to a friends home for breakfast. Then after we eat and Bullsh** for a while we going to install The DK Lift kit on his 14 HD Trike. See how that goes before I do mine. Might not have time today to do them both. Since we leaving in the morning for Simi valley, Calif . It might have to wait till next week to do mine. Good afternoon . Well after a GREAT breakfast of biscuits and gravy, egg's and sausages , juice and coffee. I was ready for a nap :laugh:. But off we went to garage to start on the lift kit. Got things ready and started to take the wheels off. We were done with everything including the test ride in about 2 hrs ThumbUp. Everything went pretty smooth thru to whole process :clapping:At 1st it looked a big lift sitting there staring at it. But then we put it next to mine and you can see the difference. Plus from the side view you can see more sidewall of the tire. So I'll do mine when I get back from Calif next week. I think it even looks better sitting that one inch higher. NO more dragging the mufflers on the driveway :clapping::clapping:

Every time I go to another website and am gone for awhile, I come back and see this thread at the top of the page. I get all excited thinking somebody has come around to chat.
Then I look at the last poster--"consitter". ::Sigh::

Finally, after 8 days of wearing a heart monitor, I got to record some activity. I've had a couple of instances of palpitations since I got to work (this is O/T btw). They are light, but it is better than nothing.
Of course in reality, NOTHING would be the best, as in never having them. :Shrug:

Scott, thanks for posting the video. The step is just what y'all needed. Your daughter is cute as a button.
That has me thinking of one, but dang they're expensive!
I would have to put it behind a few other mods, like the 30 tooth sprocket and the blinking LED tail lights.
