I'm pretty sure I have decided to trike my Valkyrie with a Roadsmith kit. Can anyone suggest an installer. I live about 80 miles east of Dallas. Thanks Elliott

Just sold two Hannigan Harley Transformer conversions to members up your way, a Roadsmith GL1800 kit to an Ohio member and shipping a Champion Victory Cross Country kit to an AZ member and Champion Sportster kit to a Michigan member tomorrow. I'm not too far south of you. PM sent.

I know Bazooka has all ready PM ed you. I have known him for many years. I have seen and heard of his work. You will not go wrong with his work. Just saying

Just a thought, but to my knowledge the Valkyrie, doesn't have a reverse...can a reverse kit be added to the Valkyrie, like a HD ?

from previous reading I seem to remember that reverse on a valkrie was NOT possible by any means. I'm not a Honda expert only limited reading a owned a few but I read that even using the Goldwing reverse was not possible.

Anything is possible... swapping engine cases with a GW 1500 and using the reverse stuff from that bike... you can put the parts taken off the Valk engine back on the GW cases... OR

This bunch is supposed to trike the Valk and have a resverse for it. You will have to contact them as I didn't see anything on their website but a member of the Valk owners forum indicated he was getting his bike triked by them or buying their stuff; not sure.

I learned during a plant tour in Marysville @ Home Coming back in the late 1990's that the Valkyrie was produced with reverse at the factory, but this was only on the ones to be exported, not any US model had it. I had forgot about that until now.

I have been told that the Japanese domestic Valk had reverse. Just heard; not sure...

I've done 22,000 miles on a Valk trike during the last 18 months.

I've never had any problem due to lack of a reverse. You simply watch where you park. Don't head it in downhill. If a down slope is the only available parking spot, back it in just as you would a bike.

Bear in mind that a triked Valk is easier to push than a Valk bike in that you don't have to holdup the trike.
